I stayed at Chaweng Blue Lagoon Hotel Jan/Feb 2017 and thoroughly enjoyed my short stay. The location is great - walking distance to bars and restaurants, and the markets, and hotel is located on the beach. The breakfast was adequate with a great view, and the pool facilities were very good. The rooms were a little older, but kept clean and tidy with great little balcony. Of particular mention - the house keeping staff were always so friendly and helpful. Also I had dinner on my last evening at the hotels beach side restaurant and my waiter was very helpful and attentive. I would stay at this hotel again.

Room tip: Best not to stay in the village villas as they are across the road from the main hotel complex.

I stayed here in April 2017. I had no airport pick up, poor grumpy service at reception upon arrival and shocked when I was delivered to the room!
The room was across a busy main road away from the main hotel, restaurant, pool and beach. It was dark, dirty, smelly and full of bugs.....

The shower dripped and sewer water was coming up through the drain. The Airconditioning was so noisy we could not sleep so we turned it off but could then hear cars and music from the road outside.

Best part of our awful stay was when we were out the hotel during the day and the most joyous event was leaving in a taxi at the end of our nightmare trip......

These owners do not deserve any business. Absolutely shocking all round......

This hotel is over priced, I e/mailed them 4 times to arrange a pick up but no response, we arrived and the safe and telephone did not work, this was like a back packers hostel room, the breakfast was ok and we only ate once in the evening and again over priced and the food was cold, don't book any trips through the hotel or hire bikes as they charge over the odds just walk down the road and you can book every thing you need, on the positive side the pool was nice and the location is good

I am terribly sorry to hear about your experience with us but i hope it did not take away the charm that Koh Samui offers to its visitors. Visited for a meal 27th Jan. We are staying down the road at Orchid beach resort. We felt we were at a nice restaraunt, the setting is lovely food and service very good.going again tomorrow, the price is very good, slightly cheaper than Orchid Beach.

It's a good 3* hotel. Stayed in the Garden bungalow, very spacious, but very old and outdated furniture and room. Mosquitoes everywhere. It would be good idea to provide moschito net above the beds as in many other hotels. The breakfast was ok, the pool area not bad. Location was also good and also had a nice massage in the garden at the pool. Not sure if I would consider to stay there again..
