We went here on the last night of our Honeymoon which was also my husband's birthday after reading the fantastic reviews. We booked a table as recommended and the restaurant was full so we were very glad we did! The food was fantastic, I had the lamb and the seabass and my husband had the mussels and the lamb shank. It was the most expensive meal we had on our trip but only by an extra 600 baht and it was very much worth it!

We went here twice in our stay as the food & wine was lovely. Had the beef, was definitely worth the price tag and the crumble was yum. Nice air conditioned premises and the waitresses were polite.

Would definitely recommend...

Went there after reading tripadvisor reviews, the food ranged from average to good, we enjoyed duck patte and beet root jam, onion rings, asparagus and the main courses, the desserts were good too. The ambience is good, service a little slow, price a little high. Go for the reccommendations

If you go for anything (which you should go for everything) go for the tuna tacos. Just little appetizers, they are so good that we had them twice in three days. The cocktails are also very good as is the service.

After planning to do our dinners on the cheap... We couldn't help ourselves but try The Larder. Boy were we not disappointed!
The cocktails were mind-blowing. Simon ordered the The Old Swine which I would highly recommend to anyone who likes bourbon. I hate bourbon as a rule but I finished off his drink.
Later we had The Peanut Butter martini after reading reviews and wow, you could drink these all night.
We shared the duck breast and liver parfait to start and it was equally as tasty as food I've eaten at The Grove in New Zealand (back home). Perhaps it was partly because we haven't had bread in 7 days?
I had the pork belly which could have used more turnip purée but the meat portion was huge and very delicious. Simon had the scallops and he also felt a sauce or purée was needed, but what was served was very tasty.
Ambience was awesome but universal. It could have been a restaurant in Cuba St, Wellington as it definitely didn't have any Thai references.
Service was very good. No complaints here.
Would go again for the cocktails.

Thank Stephanie B
