We stayed here in July 2014. We found that while the bungalow was tired and in need of a little TLC the sea front and views are unbeatable. However despite needing some updating, the room was cleaned and the bedding and towels were changed daily. We came here in the low season so the hotel was very quiet with not many guests. The staff were friendly and attentive and did their best to speak some English. The breakfast was pretty good considering the price we paid but it's the pool area and access to the beach that are the main selling point for this hotel.

Upon arrival we got a room which was the size of a shoe box and had no where to unpack our stuff. The bathroom had no shower screen or curtain. So when I showered the whole room would end up soaked. We had to move rooms when we went to get in the bed which had bed bugs and ants! we were relocated to the beach front cabin. This room was not any better then the last other than we had a shower screen and no ants or bed bugs. During the first few days construction was going on where the breakfast was being served. The banana chairs were old and moldy with torn and smelling cushions on them. The location is almost directly infront of the long boats so fish heads were drifting onto the beach. When the tide comes up you can't get back to the resort along the beaxh. They do not speak a bit of English and would never call
Me a taxi no matter how many times I asked and was left walking around trying to find taxis

Stayed here for 3 nights whilst travelling around the island. Staff were very friendly and always happy. Rooms were a tad dated with the wooden look, bathrooms were clean but had no shower just a bath. Surrounding area there's was a building site next door to hotel but there was not much noise off it. The pool and beach were the best part of the hotel. So clean and beautiful and the views were amazing.

We stayed here for 3 nights in one of the ´superior´ bungalows.

It was very spacious and clean, and nicely decorated. For the first time on the islands, we had good water pressure! I found our bed to be a bit hard, but I think that is a normal thing in Thailand, and the air-conditioning, though it worked, was a bit temperamental. The pool area was very nice, though the beach would be nicer probably in a different season, as like many areas around the islands at the moment, the tide was out. The staff were very friendly and we had little chats with them while eating breakfast or having a drink in the evening. At breakfast, the staff couldn´t do enough for us, and we got quite full at breakfast after being lavished with toast/croissants/eggs and bacon and sausages/pancakes/and fruit.

It is about 1km from the beginning of the Chaweng Beach Road shopping/bar area, and there is an awesome little scooter rental/car rental/laundry just around the corner from it where we hired a jeep for 850 baht a day. We say awesome, as we ended up in a longish conversation with a guy that works there for about 40 mins after dropping the car off. They also did a lovely job washing our clothes, which came back incredibly, and impressively, folded.

Room Tip: Double check that the A/C works!

Samui being an amazing party place is quiet busy. For us getting a resort like this was perfect it is at the extreme start of chwaeng and quiet peaceful an amazing. It is too good to relax after night long parties. It is across a shallow beach u can easily walk in the beach and sit there in total peace and chat wid ur partner in privacy and sweetness. You will have few people around. The USP of the resort is the view that u get from the pool. The beauty is to die for u can have a complete holiday with extreme beauty, relaxation and crazy parties.DON T miss the HEAVEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So, I stayed here 3 nights, and while it was okay I am pretty sure that people can do better.

First, the good. I stayed in a deluxe "sea view" room, and it was really quite nice. Spacious, well furnished, comfortable bed, large balcony, decent bathroom. I mean, not 4* or 5* level but quite nice. Also, the overall location would suit a lot of people- just 5 minutes from the main Chaweng area by bike or taxi (although if you want a taxi there is a short trip up to the main road).

Now on to the not so good. My "sea view" and the view of many of the similar rooms was only the view of a little slither of the sea. The common area also doesn't really open on to the beach as such. It opens up onto a tiny bar of sand from which you can go nowhere. And anyway, its only accessible during low tide, most of the time the water comes right up to the edge of the area, making it more like being on a pier than the beach. The common area is a little bit cheap and dreary, and needs a facelift, and the menu/restaurant is a bit uninspired.

The location is okay, but I checked most of the places on either side and I have to say that they were all a little better, or more. All but the one immediately next to it had access to real beach, and most are easier to get to the main road from. They are all a bit more pleasant in design and layout, too.

I wouldn't stay here again.

Room Tip: Many of the "Sea View" rooms don't actually look onto the sea.

We loved this hotel, the bungalows are basics but apparently the main hotel rooms are very nice! The pool was nice and staff were very helpful. Pool needs some tlc, but the view is amazing! Great location walk through the next hotel to beach and everything is there. If you walk up to ark bar the strip is there but the beach is so nice just to the right of the hotel at night! Really nice!
