We booked Marco Polo through agoda as we didn,t know where to stay at Samui it read okay but didn't quite hit the spot. The manager was very friendly and helpful the room was clean and tidy the breakfast was great.
But the bathroom shower had a bad leak in the shower head and there was no hot water which i think both those things should have been picked by the staff and they didnt replace our water . The pool was not very clean there had been a bit wind the day we arrived but there was only 2 rooms getting used and the staff didnt look to busy !!
Its was a bit far away from the beach and you had to walk through another hotel to get to it .
We moved to another hotel with a room beside the beach for the same price so there is better place

My friends and I stayed here in January 2014. We had no faults throughout our stay!
When we arrived, my friend hadn't booked her room, whereas my boyfriend and I had our room ready. The room for my three friends was quickly organised with no problems being caused. My boyfriend and I and difficulty with the air conditioning on the first day of our stay. We were offered another room, but the air conditioning was quickly fixed. The rooms were spacious, clean and overall well kept (we loved the house keeper!).

The food was great! I can't eat pizza, but everyone else in our group loved it. For anyone who needs gluten free, there's meat balls and salads. We suggest everyone we know going to Samui to try out the pizzas. They were a bit expensive for our budget, but we had them as a special meal. We returned to Samui for a few hours between a ferry and flight change over, so visited again to try and get pizza. Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed, but we were offered to leave our bags there - which was very generous.

The pool and grounds were nice. We often relaxed by the pool and I think the owner of the hotel was quite flexible and nice with us - even though we sometimes probably made too much noise. If you don't want just a pool, there's a decent beach just across the road. But I suggest you're better off trying out getting a jeep and exploring the islands beaches more thoroughly.

We stumbled upon Marco Polo after another reservation we made elsewhere fell through - how lucky we were. It is a lovely "boutique" style property consisting of a handful of rooms located in a beautiful garden setting with a swimming pool in the middle. Our room was adequately sized and very nicely furnished with traditional wooden furnishings. The owner operator Ricardo was very friendly and most hospitable, he helped us out with advice on several occasions and always seemed happy to help. The other staff were friendly too and did a good job of keeping the place clean and well maintained. The location suited us perfectly being at the end of a very busy strip but an easy walk to the beach and still close enough to the action to allow you to sample it if you chose. The complex is also home to a restaurant looks good and tastes even better. Honestly I love my pizzas and the ones we had here were one of the best I've ever had. Overall I think if you are looking for a high level of service at a quality but authentic establishment then Marco Polo is a great choice.

Authentic italian food...everything from the cheese to the tomatoe sauce tasted great!!! Must try when visiting koh samui. We bumped into this restaurant very randomly. Ambience and location is also very good. Dont know anything about the hotel but definitely recommend the restaurant.

Tried marco polos tonight. The food was okay but not amazing, the lasagne (pre cooked and re heated) was nice as where the fries. The ice cream was a let down and quite plain as was the other deserts. The pizza whilst it looked nice was slightly over cooked on the edges and soggy in the middle. Very nice staff and management though. Very quiet.

Food was excellent! Staff friendly and welcoming. Room was very nice. Quiet and peaceful! Great price for location! Beach access was easy. If you like Italian food this resort has the best homemade dishes I have eaten. Owners are from Italy so the food is authentic. If you are looking for an affordable getaway to a exotic location, this is a great place to come. Only negative is not directly on the beach but the beach is only a 5 minute walk. Not close to shopping, you would have to take a taxi to town. Very beautiful place if you want to relax!!!!

This restaurant is just amazing if you are looking for authentic Italian food, look no further. The chef Sasa is Italian and his specialty is seafood in fact the gnocchi seafood are to die for. The service is very genuine and caring and Riccardo and Lidia, the owners, are always around to ensure guests are well looked after.

They also have a small but nice selection of Italian wines I personally loved the Gewürztraminer, i thought matched greatly with the mix seafood platter.

A must visit place and by the way it's a very reasonably priced outlet thus great value for money.
