“A Bit Tired but Lovely”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 5 August 2014

On arrival, whilst the style and décor of the hotel and lobby are pleasantly contextural and tasteful, one immediately notices that the lobby and hotel in general is a bit tired and in need of a spruce up. We didn't want a spa hotel, nor one that was too big, a concrete jungle with multiple pools or in an isolated location. The location was good for the beach and access to all restaurants, bars etc. However, if you are a light sleeper, there is still a faint thumping of music that one hears from the nearby bars all through the night. The rooms were large and beautifully decorated, the standard room being nicer than the suite in my opinion. However, next door, the hotel is being demolished and this is the current outlook from one's balcony which is awful! The breakfast is good, but could be sensational with the addition of a wider range of fruit and more appetizing display and layout. Dinner setup on the beach is the most beautiful and romantic of all the surrounding restaurants. Also, the staff couldn't be more congenial and helpful which really made our stay a pleasure in lots of ways. Cleaning of the rooms sometimes left a little to be desired with toiletries not being replenished and the towels should be updated with a nice new fluffy variety. Also the pillows we first got were the hardest, lumpiest variety ever experienced. All that aside, there was an ambience that made our 10 day holiday very, very nice.

Room Tip: 1st or 2nd floor. Standard rooms are just like the photos

If you're thinking about going to Koh Samui and your budget is on the mid-high level you must visit this hotel.
First of all, the place gives you a kind of serenity I can't explain.. from the moment you enter to the reception...
Second, even the standard room is big and comfy and smells very good and clean.
And the highlight of the hotel is the swimming pool. Beautiful infinity pool and nice calm privte beach :)
In summary I'll say, this is an amazing place and if your budget allows don't miss a visit.

Room Tip: Always check avalibility before this hotel is very popular and it's recommanded to pre-order.

I came to this place many times (5 times or more….) and I am disappointed about the "new" breakfast offer. Regarding the price you pay for this hotel the buffet is very limited and small, no big choices. Before it was excellent and rich. If you are looking for a nice breakfast, do not book at this hotel.

Room Tip: Rooms close to the beach are quieter.

We stayed here early July with two children (4 & 7yo). We stayed in the Deluxe Suite and it is well worth the extra money as we fully appreciated the additional space. It was wonderful and we all were quite happy to spend time in the room as much as outside it! Breakfast was fantastic - plenty of variety for all of us.

The pool was very kid friendly. The staff were all amazing - so welcoming to all of us and nothing was too much trouble. Most of them spoke English quite well and were happy to offer suggestions on shopping, tours, places to eat, etc. We were most appreciative of the housekeepers realising our 4 yo needed a nap about noon, so our room was one of the first they cleaned in the morning.

The hotel is at the upper end of the Main Street, so you are right among the restaurants, shopping etc as soon as you exit the hotel.

We had a great stay.

I have been all over the world and i have spend my time for business and pleasure in many hotels; After a period of more than 5 years I have spend a real holiday for 10 days at Koh Samui; My selection was taken after a search on Trip Advisor. And we were very much surprised. The hotel, the reception and welcome desk, the staff, the accomodation, the food, the pool, the breakfast, the entertainment.... short... all was fantastic; A special thanks to the breakfast staff who did its outmost best to make our stay very comfortable. everey morning they were early up and smiling. I can only recommend the hotel to all of you can can spend some money and who are looking for a Quality stay worth it's money. Check it out.....

Room Tip: All rooms have their own identity, some of the nicer rooms are at the pool area. Also family rooms a...

So we got the room we paid for - no upgraded ocean view room or complimentary breakfasts, etc. but the room was still decent. The grounds are nice, the pool serene and beach unspoiled. We stayed 5 nights and barely even got out of the resort other than for a few dinners down the street (mind you ur in Chaweng so all good restaurants are within a 5 min walk).
If you are like me and want to stay in the center of everything but still feel like getting away once you step into the resort, this place is for you.

We travelled about a year ago and I have no recollection of our travel dates but this was one of our most relaxing vacations.

I stayed with a few friends and had such a lovely time. The staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. We were given cool drinks and hand towels on arrival which was refreshing as it was very humid at the time. The pool was great with a little bar just there. This was right on the beach and only a few minutes walk down to main strip, shops and eating places. I have such good memories of staying here.
