A trip to the underground hospital is a must. It is a great insight into how the German occupying forces tried to protect those who had been injured. There are several first hand accounts of what life was like. Although these tunnels were never finished or used you get a real feeling of being back in time. It is quit dark and can be a little chilly but this just adds to the atmosphere. There is a cafe and shop selling souvenirs onsite. You also get a id card from the time and at the end of the trip if you go to the shop you can see who your card is and what happened to him/her during the occupation
