“A step back in time”
Reviewed 7 April 2009

Hamptonne is a great day out for all ages and you can quite easily loose yourself here for a few hours.
Going on a day when the sun is shining adds to the attraction but there are enought buildings for you to go in if it was to rain.
There is a gift shop and a cafe, where the meals are all freshly home made and wonderful, and great local treats like the cabbage bread.
You wonder around the fields with the hens & chicks and just step back in time, you could easily see yourself living there. The houses & barns are great and cool against the sunshine but fires are alight on cooler days.
They have a good number of animals here, which are great for the kids of any age and they all have name and you can stroke them.
Well worth a visit and a meal.
