Many reviews have already highlighted what a magic gemstone in St. Lawrence this establishment is, and we completely agree!! A very warm greeting on arrival, and looked after throughout our stay by our hostess, Victoria. The breakfasts were delicious and the choices were good. I must say the beds were extremely comfortable. There was slight street noise but there's not that much traffic anyway. The garden was great to relax in, and even the occasional plane descending overhead did not bother us in the slightest. Victoria is a mountain of knowledge and has all the appropriate maps, listings, timetables, weather & tide updates , recommendations etc. you could wish for. The pub just down the road is very inviting too with a great menu and ambiance...you start to feel part of the community which is quite rare these days. (I highly recommend the fish & chips!!).

This lovely guest house is situated near the centre of the island on, what is for Jersey, a quite busy road. Our bedroom on the ground floor had been recently refurbished with a new en suite bathroom. We had a king sized bed, good quality bedding and ample tea coffee and chocolate making facilities, as well as chairs and a flat screen TV. There was a very comfortable lounge for sitting and having a quiet read of a book or catching up on your tablet/laptop with free wifi. The dining room looks out on the garden which is accessible through through patio doors and is available for guests to use with an awning and seats.
The breakfast is excellent a very good choice of fruit and cereals followed by full English or any part of this as well as scrambled eggs etc. As much toast and tea/coffee as you want.
Although guests are requested to be out of their rooms between 1100 and 1400hours for servicing of the rooms, the lounge and garden are available most of the time.
Parking is on the road outside the guesthouse and for most of the time was no problem, there is I understand more parking available in the side roads with a disc which Victoria, the host, can provide
I heartily agree with the comments by, old bill62,PeterFrance and SarahLalley

Room Tip: Our room was on the ground floor, I think there are only two of them, see my comments above.

We stayed here on a walking holiday and could not have been treated any better. Victoria is an incredibly hardworking host who looks after guests as if they were members of the family. Breakfasts are great with lovely choice and the rooms are clean and comfy. The only critism possible is 8.30 was a little late for us as earliest breakfast time. I travel a lot on business and I have stayed in many 4star hotels not as good as
this smashing b & b

Victoria, who you'll meet, has missed nothing. Every little thing that'd make a stay more comfortable has been thought of. My room was of ample size, well equipped and very comfortable. As well, she's a delightful hostess. Go no further.

Have just had a fantastic 4 days on Jersey and stayed in Victoria's B&B Villa d Oro. A ten minute drive from the airport and central location to explore the whole of the island, this is a great place to stay. Spotless, great breakfast, great local pub, even beach towels provided. Victoria has a great knowledge of the island recommending, beaches, restaurants, etc. We will definitely be back.

We have just said a fond farewell to Victoria after our third stay in three years. This B & B is a wonderful find, centrally located, spotlessly clean and with delicious breakfasts. Nothing is too much trouble for Victoria and her team....ideas & tips on places to visit and eat, beach towels are provided and she was more than happy to arrange bicycle hire for us. There is a guest lounge and beautiful garden to sit in...if you are looking for a place to stay in Jersey, do not hesitate to stay here!

Having missed a trip to Jersey last year it was wonderful to be back, Victoria welcoming as ever, the place is evolving and continues to be the most relaxing place to stay with everything needed for a complete holiday. Rooms are well appointed, comfortable and beds just right thanks to the efficient Rosa. Breakfast as splendid as ever - no need for anything until late afternoon after a good walk to earn a Jersay cream tea! This is one place we are destined to return to time and again - we think we first went in 2004....
