We visited here with our host, and had a traditional Italian breakfast of coffee and cakes. The cannoli were delicious and we tried a ricotta cake too. This is a great place to people watch. Next time we may well try the evening menu.

Great location, the terrace is just in the front of the Municipio (Council House). The menu offers a good varieties of starters, primi, mains and pizzas. No complaints about the quality of food, but the service, as mentioned by others before, was miles far from be professional. 20 minutes after have ordered, drinks were not arrived yet and we have been obliged to ask again. The pizzas arrived when we were still eating the starter and have been left on the table. I had a fish starter and cutlery have not been changed for the pizzas. The empty dishes of starters have been left on the table and in order to have a new bottle of beer we have been obliged to ask few times again. 10% service is automatically added to the bill, not unusual in Italy, especially when you don't pay the "coperto". It is really pity that a so nice place, for the location and food, has a so dreadful service that put you off to returning.........and just the record, when you are coming form Glasgow, to be served a bottle of Peroni in a Tennent's glass was the joke of the night

We usually spend the month of May in this part of Sicily, and Cafe Millennium is one of three restaurants we continue to return to. There is a choice of sitting outdoors and enjoying a lighter lunch (we have not been here for dinner) or going inside and downstairs for a "real" meal. When dining downstairs, we always ask for the chef's recommendations for the day. We have never been disappointed in any of their pasta dishes. And, leave room for dessert, which you can choose from the dessert case in the cafe bar - their cannelloni are some of the best in southeast Sicily - the other best can be found at Cafe Sicilia on the main street in Noto.
Service is always friendly, although service when sitting outdoors can sometimes feel a bit rushed (or even brusque).

Perhaps we shouldn't have chosen fish. Quite smart, quite expensive but the swordfish with pistachio pesto at15 euros wasn't up to much. The steak looked good as did the 'local' platter.

very attractive location, in the middle of the Sicilian Baroque. the place was also the location of a famous TV show "Montalbano" taken by writer A. Camilleri. The pizza is good, there are several proposals for pizza with local ingredients and flavors
