“Wonderful Spot”

My husband and I were craving a warm weather getaway after the relentless snow storms this winter. This place was perfect. From the wonderful, friendly, very helpful staff to the lovely grounds of this beautiful sweet little hotel, we throughly enjoyed our visit. The town is charming and a lovely place to stroll around. The staff went out of their way to arrange a massage and help us organize scuba diving. The food and drinks were excellent.

Room Tip: The rooms in the lodge are beautifully appointed and very comfortable but if you are looking to spre...

My wife and I decided last minute to get away from the hellish Wisconsin winter that we've been having so we booked a beach cottage at Hope Town Harbor Lodge for the last few days of Feb and early March. Lovely room with king bed - no TV, phone or clock...just an open door with the view of the ocean! Just what we were looking for in a quiet, non-mega hotel type of place to relax! Short walk to beach....of the 5 days we were there the most people we saw on the beach was 8 on a Sunday afternoon.
Their restaurant is very good for dinner, pool side for breakfast and lunch. The town itself is small and very quaint. There are several good restaurants within 5 minutes walk of the hotel or a short 10 minute golf cart ride away. Highly recommend if you want a small, peaceful, private place to get away!

Room Tip: Go the extra $$ and get a beach house....

One of the most unspoiled and special places to vacation. The in- town location makes it so easy to beach , party, relax, and to stroll around the quaint town. The staff is super friendly. The hotel is beautiful. I will put this on my list to revisit for sure and this comes from a 20 year resident of Maui!

We go to Hopetown every January, staying at one of the many rental homes available. But every year, we go to at least one Happy Hour at the waterside bar at the Harbour Lodge, and we also go at least once to the restaurant inside the hotel. Each is worth a separate visit if you are in Hopetown. There is always a great fish of the day at the restaurant, and some phenomenal rum drinks at the bar (which also features a wonderful view). The prices are not outrageous and the service is excellent. Because we've gone several times now, we know our experiences are not a fluke.

This was the best service/food combination in Hope Town. A server by the name of Robinette took excellent care of us and the food was superb. It was a slow night, but they could not have done a better job...in the main restaurant. While the food is good on the outside bar/restaurant, the service was very slow. Stick with dinner in the main restaurant!

Room Tip: Did not stay at the lodge...just used the restaurants.

My wonderful wife a I were married at the lodge two weeks ago. It was a great experience. Allen Davis and staff are friendly and accommodating. Even in renovation the facility is great. We had wonderful cottages right on the water with incredible views. They had all been remodeled and are very large. We did not see any of the harbor view rooms but they all appeared to have great views of the beautiful harbor and light house. It is everything you will hope for in a beach side hotel and nothing will disappoint.

Room Tip: All of the rooms were great. The beach cottages have great views of the water.

We arrived several hours late due to flight delays. We were greeted at the dock by the General Manager Allen Davis and he showed us to the desk where Annie greeted us as she had stayed late to accommodate us. Due to the remodeling we were upgraded to a beach view cottage instead of a room in the lodge. We stayed in the Guava Cottage and it was spacious, clean, nicely decorated and had beautiful views of the ocean. Just steps from the beach with beautiful sunrises every morning. Freshwater pool with the Reef Resturant and Bar managed by Fernande the most wonderful person and at the Reef Bar we were served by the famous Gary and Katie. Meals at the Reef Restaurant outdoors and in the Great Harbor Room were outstanding. Ray's Place Lounge in the Lodge is a great place to mingle, where Sandy and Monishe took great care of us. Natasha, Annie and Candace at the Lodge front desk were so kind and full of information. So many things to do and see we highly recommend you come and check it out. All of the staff and all of the people on this Island were kind, courteous and friendly. A safe place to relax and unwind.

Room Tip: Choose Ocean View Cottage
