We did a long weekend here. It is a go back to place. King Room was well designed and appointed. Clean, well stocked and fairley priced.
Grounds are very well maintained by a very friendly compitent staff.

Aaron Knowles , General Manager, understands just what "HOSPATALITY" is all about.

Room Tip: We liked the King Rooms

We decided to stay at the Hope Town Inn & marina after recommendations from friends on Cape Cod. We were not disappointed!
We were greeted and helped into our slip by Dockmaster Sam McPhee, with a big welcoming smile.
Checking in at the front desk, Linda took care of all questions and made sure that our stay would be very pleasurable.
Aaron Knowles, the GM, came by to warmly greet us like we were his "long lost" aunt and uncle. The food served in the restaurant was excellent, try the Eggs Benny at breakfast.
Every time we needed a ferry ride to Hope Town, Michael or Sherman, in their straw hats, were between there to ferry us over and quick to respond for pick ups via VHF radio. Annie and I are planning to return to the Bahamas and will definitively pay the Hope Town marina another visit

We had a bad experience for dinner last year, but they seem to have improved their food offering. We had very nice starters of crawfish scampi and lighthouse salad with sirloin. Water taxi is efficient and service at the restaurant was good. We will visit again. Keep up the good work. This is just a review of the food; we did not stay at the Inn.

Arrived yesterday after a delayed traumatic flight that could have left us stranded in marsh harbour had we missed the ferry. Adrian in the office liaised with us and would have sorted out any issues. He mad the issue less stressful... The suite is awesome... The place really is top notch. Our first day was complete with what I can safely say a meal in the bar/restaurant which was probably the best we have ever had.... Sharing the chicken satay stater, the wife had catch of the day. When I had a taste I didn't want to swallow it , it really left a taste you didn't want to lose... My ribeye was big and sensational..... Definitely the best steak I have ever had... Chef Neil is to be complimented big style..... The menu whilst not extensive covers all bases and if the other choices, I am going to definitely try the rave of lamb next... Are as tasty then our stay here will see some extra weight on the flight back... James the bar man ensured a steady supply of cocktails.... Even the polar cold snap can't dampen my enthusiasm. Looking fwd to the next seven days.

We had such a nice week at the Hope Town Inn & Marina in spite of horrible rainy weather. All of the staff was so pleasant and helpful. The two pools are fabulous for the kids and the food was very good. We even had an excellent turkey dinner on Thanksgiving night. Two groups in our family stayed in the villas and they were lovely, well-appointed and comfortable and well-cleaned each day.

We recently visited the restaurant at this resort for lunch. It is a beautiful location with a beautiful pool, atmosphere and surroundings. There was a large group of us there visiting by boat, which is the only way you can get to this restaurant. Four in our group ordered the "catch of the day", which was mahi mahi. One had it fried, and the rest had it "blackened" on a sandwich. It was the worst meal I had on the whole vacation. Everyone agreed (later, unfortunately) that the fish was old and very fishy. The fish sandwich I ordered (for $17!) could in no way be considered blackened. It was just a skimpy couple of pieces of fish on a large bun with tarragon sprinkled on it. The fishy taste was so strong that I had to dip it in ranch dressing to kill the taste. I'm kicking myself that I didn't send it back, especially after learning that three of the others experienced the same awful taste. Those in our party that did not order fish (chicken and hamburger) said their meal was acceptable. It's just a shame to advertise freshly caught fish on the menu ("catch of the day"? Really? Which day?) and charge $17 for a sandwich and have it be old, frozen, fishy fish in a place where fresh fish should be abundant, and especially in this upscale resort. I was expecting much more. I was very disappointed.

Stayed at the marina for approx. three weeks and had the opportunity to experience the facilities and management long term. The hospitality is truly outstanding, the facilities also. clean pool, restaurant, dock, etc. restaurant service was first rate and accommodating. I had multiple great meals, compliments of the chef. Hard to beat as a place to stay on elbow Cay.

There are also motel rooms that include one and two bedroom suites.

Water shuttle on demand into town. Beaches and other restaurants are easily accessed.

Room Tip: All rooms have nice views. hotel rooms are next to pool, one bedroom suites in main adjacent buildin...
