We stayed in this lovely hotel after our first day on the Camino. The building has been totally renovated to a high standard. The room we had was very clean, large and with the towel rails on so we could dry our wet walking clothes. The beds were very comfortable. We would be happy to have stayed for a few days, but had other accommodation booked. The room also have a very nice walk in shower [much appreciated after a long days walk]. The only slight negative was the way the breakfast was organized for guests that were not in large groups, that aside we would defiantly visit again.

We had an apartment suite on the first floor. Plenty of room for luggage, wet clothes & really comfortable beds. The pilgrim dinner at E9 was really good value if somewhat unexciting. However it was really sociable to sit at long tables & mix with fellow pilgrims. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice. Staff were very helpful.
A very positive experience at the end of a tough first Camino day.

What a fabulous place to fall into after the first gruelling day of walking the Camino from St Jean Pied De Port. We were exhausted and would have been happy anywhere we could have located a bed, but this hotel ticked all the boxes. Fast, efficient check-in by extremely friendly and capable staff, fabulous comfortable room, plenty of hot water (though the shower floor was slippery), great dinner, good breakfast, fast and easy check-out. All staff we encountered couldn't have been more helpful. Top notch!

it was fabulous to arrive in this wonderful hotel after walking 25 km in the rain from France. Hotel rooms are spacious and newly refurbished. A bit of a challenge to find the hotel entrance, which could have been better marked. WiFi worked fine. Pilgrims dinner was nothing to be impressed about, but for the price of 9 euros it was OK. Note that the reception did not open until 0830, which is strange since most people want to start on the next days trek early. Good breakfast buffet.

After 7 hrs walking in the rain we arrived at Roncesvalles. The hotel is part of the overall church/Hostel complex. On arrival we were told that there was no hot water. We got to the room and were given complementary coffees and told that complimentary breakfast the next morning was included for the inconvenience. Not really called for as there was plenty of hot water 30 minutes later. Staff were extremely friendly and hotel was way above expectations high up in the middle of the Pyrenees.
