“Amazing holiday!!!”
Reviewed 27 August 2013

Went to christakis with my girlfriend mid August, transfer time on way there was 2 and a Half hours as we were last drop. Transfer back was 1 hour as we were last pick up. As soon as we arrived nikos was there to greet us, gave us our keys and carried our bags to our room. Air con was 40 euros which was good value. We were lucky to have a ground floor apartment so as we stepped out our room we could jump straight into the pool. Nikos couldn't do enough for us all week, always bringing our drinks over to us. Only 2 euro for mythos, food is very cheap only 3.50 for a large breakfast. Burger and chips for a 5er!! Always plenty of sunbeds by the pool so no need to put your towel out too early if you want a Ly in. Sidari beach is a 5 min walk away and on the main beach road is all the restaurants and bars so you do not have to worry about noise at all. Drinks in bars were about 3.50 for a vodka redbull, cocktails were 5 euros. Mixed grill is under a Tenner everywhere. Our favourite bar was mohitos, which was very nice and chilled out, backed onto the beach with a log fire to keep you warm. Loads of nice places to eat around sidari, nice Mexican restaurant above one of the clubs on the strip. Also went to canal dmour a few times the beach is lovely has lots of caves and nice shallow water. Went on a boat trip from kassiopi only 25 euros for the day and stopped off at 2 islands, food and drink included. Great way to spend a day. But all in all a great holiday in a great location with great service. Would definatly return to christakis and sidari!!!

Just returned from 2 Weeks with the family at the Christakis Appartments, our second stay in Sidari - Rooms were basic but very clean there was a slight mix up with the room we were allocated on arrival which meant a slight delay before we could unpack but once resolved we settled in quickly - we had a seperate kitchen which for greece was good and a decent sized wardrobe / drawers also TV in the bedroom albeit with 1 English Channel and both windows and patio door were fitted with anti mosquito mesh which was essential but despite this the mossys still got thru we didnt opt for the aircon which was about 90 Euro - next time round think we will budget for this upfront to stop the mossys and also to avoid the noise from next doors aircon , note their is a Bike Rental Shop literally over the road from the hotel and general noise from late night scooters, quads and the bar downstairs.Overall felt the position of the hotel was a little way out from the main centre but was fine for the beach and still has plenty of restauraunts nearby to choose from and a great little supermarket a short stroll away - the bar was well stocked and did serve snacks but we spent most of our time at the beach where sunbeds were free for customers of the overlooking snack bars - we reverted back to the pool post the beach but be warned the childrens area of the pool is tiny - sunloungers were free & plentiful around the entire pool and a greek night was available at 15 Euro for entertainment & food, the nearby Alkion hotel offered different entertainment every night and was open to everyone.

Room Tip: Avoid the ground floor which is literally a sunbed away from the pool and we heard of issues with An...

Stayed here for two weeks with my Grandad, Gran, Mum and two siblings. The rooms are basic just what you need. It's very quiet and relaxed and Nikos is so funny and friendly! The bar serves food and drinks and is right by the pool which is just perfect! There are plenty of supermarkets nearby and great for fresh bread! Just 10 minutes along the road is the strip of bars and clubs and restaurants with a great atmosphere! The beach is only 5 minutes walk and goes all the way along to the busy strip! The beach has lots of water sports, boats, sunbeds and beach bars! I really recommend hiring a boat from "The Yellow Boat Company" as you get to drive off in your on motor boat! It's fantastic! The Sea monkey bar was our FAVOURITE place as the staff Fiona and Bennee are so friendly and lovely and so is their little dog Toffee! 5 stars for that place! All the best and I hope you choose to stay here, its just amazing!

Spent the week here with my boyfriend (18 year olds) - location was perfect and rooms were very basic but just what we needed. The hotel was all very relaxed, fairly quiet, with a lovely pool area and very friendly and welcoming staff. However walk only 10 minutes and we were at the lively, busy strip with lots of bars and clubs- it was the perfect mix of relaxation in the day and lively, party atmostphere at night. The hotel is also only a 10 minute walk away from the beach.

We were also only a few minutes away from a small supermarket and trip organisers. We booked to go to the waterpark one day and a romantic evening cruise- both very cheap and would definately recommend! There are loads of other cheap day trips out you could choose from.

Would definately come back and would recommend Christakis!

Stayed at Christakis apartments hotel for two weeks. We, myself, wife and daughter were not sure what to expect. Upon arrival at 1:30am in morning this guy at reception called Nikos showed us to our room and gave us 2 cold bottles of water. This guy turned out to be the main guy who cleaned the pool, took care of apartments and run the bar restuarant too. He never stopped from early hours through to the early hours next day. We had some laughs with him throughout our stay. A word of warning though, he does not take any nonsense or guests getting too rowdy. Good guy though. Although can get bit grumpy sometimes too. Apartments are basic but very clean, pool is nice size. Meals are okay . Sidari itself has many bars and restuarants to choose from. Some lovely beachs within 10 minutes walk. All in a good choice for a family holiday. Will be back again for sure.

Room Tip: top floor rooms have best views around and more peacefull. "Beds" bar or "1 for the r...

just had a fantastic 2 week break at this hotel,
on arrival hotel manager nicos was waiting to show us to our rooms great guy.
rooms in this hotel are huge as this is a self catering hotel everything you need
but who wants to cook on holiday the hotel bar serves great food and not over priced too
nico makes a stuffado to die for, kleftiko is great to in fact anything you ask he will make and if he's not got it in it will be there the next day, i ask for heinz beans and they were there the next day.
pool cleaned every day and always enough sunbeds to go round
rooms cleaned everyday and towels changed 3 times a week
free wi-fi at the bar and the computer is free if you have a drink with nicos
this man gets everywhere he does most things round the hotel and a great guy to have a few drinks with at night before you retire.
so to sum up
great hotel great staff great food and the hotel is just far away from the nightlife to have a quiet night if you've had a long day

Room Tip: ask for a bottom floor room as all the rooms face the pool
