I recently stayed here with my sister for a week. We booked through Olympic Holidays, however as I couldn't find any recent reviews of the place, and it was a last minute booking, I was slightly worried about what we might find on arrival.

I really shouldn't have worried at all! The place is lovely, the staff are all very friendly and helpful. It's a family run business, and it is clear that they really care about the guests and their business.

In terms of accommodation it was as you would expect for Greece. We had a twin room with a balcony overlooking the pool, together with a separate kitchen/dining room with basic, but adequate facilities. Everything was very clean, tidy and well maintained.

The apartments are located a short distance out of Sidari. We usually walked in, which took around 20 minutes, however there is a free shuttle bus provided 3 times a day (11am, 6.30pm and 10.30pm I think), and taxis cost 6 euros. There is a well-stocked supermarket approximately 5 minutes walk from the accommodation.

The remote location makes for a very lovely and quiet location - although make sure you take some insect repellant, as there seemed to be a lot of little biting buggers around!

We only ate at the hotel a couple of times, which was a mistake, as we should've eaten there a lot more. They offer the usual fare of toasted sandwiches, salads, burgers, greek dishes etc and all are reasonably priced. We had thought we would save money making our own dinners, but it ended up costing more than if we'd eaten at the pool bar.

I would strongly recommend going to Greek Night, hosted by the hotel on Sundays. It costs 10 Euros for a dinner, including garlic bread, greek salad and Tzatziki for starter, followed by either chicken or Pork chop from the BBQ - my Pork chop was the best i've ever tasted! This is all followed by greek dancing, started by the brothers dancing through flames.

The pool is lovely, with plenty of sun loungers. As far as I could see, all rooms had good views. Personally I think the block towards the back of the plot had the better rooms, as they all had large private balconies, although that was really the only difference between them. The views are all more or less the same, unless you overlook the pool, which we did. The only downside of being near the pool was the noise from the bar at night, but once we closed the patio doors it was blocked out (it just got a bit sweaty in the morning with the doors closed), but it wasn't really a problem at all.

Free wifi is available, which we didn't realise until day 5 as the rep on the bus told us there was a charge - but on the bar is the wifi code which is free for anyone to use.

I would definitely recommend a visit here, and I will certainly be looking to return at some point.

We arrived to be made most welcome, And Stephanos was very helpful, It is budget so if you expect 5 star then i suggest you book 5 star, This was a quick get away with my children and a friend and her children, The apartments are clean, well kept and we had no problems whatsoever!
I agree with the distance being 20 - 30 minutes walk from the town, however the low cost of the accomodation allows for 6 Euro in a taxi if you don't want to walk.
The location is perfect though for peace and quiet, We loved it! we loved corfu and will definately be making a quick half term get away there again.
The Taxi service is excellent and the Marianna will book them for you whenever you need them.
We went at the end of the season for October half term and we were lucky with the weather, Mozzy spray is a must though at this time.
We also did a few trips, corfu town (shopping day, Much more expensive than Sidari) and East coast Cruise (very worth it)
As i said I would recommend these apartments without hesitation, It suited all of our children, ranging from 2 to 12! Pool and apartments are clean and Owners are fantastic, helpful, and genuinely friendly (not a fake smile in sight) WHAT MORE CAN YOU ASK FOR??

Room Tip: As we had a few apartments we noticed that are all much the same so depends if you want to be near the pool or not i suppose when choosing.

Booked the Marianna direct, this is our third time to Sidari, so we knew the area. Whilst reading the other comments, agree with the walk into town, but this did not cause a problem, and caught a taxi home in the evenings (6 euro). We loved it here, very friendly staff and everything worked, will definitely use again.

We booked Marianna for august 2012.
It was so bad that we couldn't stay there and had to find another accomodation.
The toilet flush was not working properly. when you actually managed to flush the toilet, the water from the toilet was leaking and the floor was all wet from the toilet water. Terrible! And the manager asked us if this is a big problem for us or not! He was very suprised when I told him that it is a big problem and that we are not staying there. The bathroom is not functional, ofcourse it is a big problem.
I asked for another appartment but everything was booked so we had to find another place to stay. And the other place was 40 times better than Marianna (varvara appts.) :)

Room Tip: Try to choose a room which has functional bathroom :)

we booked this apartment with Olympic as a late deal,we/ve been to several Greek resorts so we had an idea what to expect.Although the apartments being a 30 min walk from Sidari we didnt find it to trying since it being flat.At night its best to travel back by taxi for 6 euro. The apartment we had was a studio No 11 which had its own private balcony handy for breakfast and a late evening drink. There was air con but the room had windows either side and were fitted with fine mesh screens,so they were always left opened, but we always use a plug in and mosy coils at night. We had no problem wth hot water or toilet, showers were, as every Greek shower room is.The beds were hard, bed linen and overall cleanliness was very good. The only thing that we would have wanted was a toaster instead of using the grill. The pool is excellent, along with the bar which is well stocked and reasonably priced, this being a family run unit they are very helpful and always available. We had a wonderful week and met some nice people.
