Lovely relaxing holiday!

4.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed 14 Jun 2017via mobile
Came here on a last minute deal with Thomson's for 2 weeks with my partner.. On arrival we were shown to our room which was lovely and big.. Watch out for the Mosquitos though, we got a few bites!.. Didn't bother with air con as we managed without it.. We managed to buy a 6 pack of water from pool bar when we arrived which helped a lot.. Cleaners work very hard and do a good job.. Make sure you buy a pack of toilet roll from the shops as they only provide two rolls in your room and that's it - I think this needs to written on the notice boards in the rooms just so people are aware. The pool area and gardens are kept lovely and we always managed to get a sun bed around the pool at whatever time we went.. Breakfast at the pool bar is faultless, we had a few other snacks which were ok; asked for a cheese burger but they fetched what tasted like veggie burgers and then another day I asked for a BLT baguette and it only came with bacon on.. so watch that. Can't comment on their evening meals as we never stayed at the bar we always walked into the strip for entertainment.. The family are lovely but we feel they don't really make that much effort with customers that don't spend a lot of money in the bar which is not really fair.. also we had an issue the 1st week with the people staying next door to us as they played music on a speaker into the early hours - we had a word with the owner about this and were told to speak to the Thomson rep about it as they couldn't say anything to them - I think this was ridiculous, it is their apartments so it's their responsibility to ensure that all customers are respecting their accommodation. Other than that we have had a lovely relaxing self catering holiday but I'm not sure if I would return due to location of the apartments

I couldn't honestly be more happy with the service we received. We parked up and instantly got greeted by the staff. We had a perfect large room for my family, including a bath as I had a baby with us. It was his first birthday and I couldn't find a place that would sell a cake. This was 5 days into our holiday. The owners wife made my little boy his first birthday cake, for free and brought it out to us after we ate our meal. We where so happy and taken back at how kind they all where. They where all good fun and we had a brilliant night on Wednesday bingo quiz and pool night. Dave comes to do the hosting for the night. Really nice man, really fun. Hates been beat at pool! Really clean apartments and out door area. Even out side the hotel and in the main town it's litter free. In the apartment you have a hair dryer in both rooms free, all cooking equipment. Cutlery and cups, glasses kettle, fridge, little mini oven, even a ice tray in the freezer. Beds where comfy for me and my partner, however my mam found hers uncomfortable. The main road is noisy and busy but in your room you have shutters and sound proof doors. Close them on a night set a alarm as they are super black out shutters and you won't hear a thing. Make sure you close them on a night to avoid bites, me and my partner where fine. My mam and son got bit bad because she left the doors open. I felt completely safe to leave my belongings out, never left money but I have full trust for the staff. My partner and I went out to the town and had a few drinks. We entered a night club and he lost his £800 phone. We checked out route and thought it was gone. Until a Greek group of lads asked what was wrong, we explained we lost his phone and the young man told us he had handed it into the bar. We where shocked and over the moon.
Food: all Greek food is really nice, the hotel food is good. Everyone on here says the salt and pepper restraint is good. I found the mixed grill really salty and the fruit mix desert something you would get in a ok pub in England. I was expecting strawberry, pear, grapes, kiwi. I got Apple paniapple and banana and orange. Very disappointed at that also pricy for what you get. Personally I would stick to the hotel for food, it's cheaper and much nicer. Over all the hotel was amazing!

Stayed for 2 weeks from middle may my husband is disabled and they could not do enough for us. The whole place was spotless, everyone that worked there were the nicest people so friendly and cheerful missing them all already. Hope to return soon. The pictures do not do it justice as have been updated.

Brilliant, couldn't fault a thing. we stayed as a family for 2 weeks in May, we arrived early afternoon, greeted and shown to our room, room was excellent as we have stayed in Greece for the last 10 years first time ever with a bath, no more wet floors. the rooms were excellent TV`s in both and a full size fridge freezer, rooms were cleaned every day apart from Sunday. Fresh towels every other day. food was excellent and very well priced, always something on the special board made fresh, we went to the Greek night had the biggest and best pork chop ever also the dancing was great, had to much wine and was up dancing. recommend you go if it`s on when you are there, pool was good and loads of loungers, boys were never out even when it was raining, also never off the pool table, 1 euro a go but Nico often gave the boys a cpl of tokens free. supermarkets are 5 min walk max, and about 15 mins walk into Sidari. we would stay here again without question, had a fantastic holiday, thanks to everyone.

Loved these apartments we have never stayed anywhere quite like it before - from the moment we got of the coach we were personally met by Christina and brought to our apartment no queuing for room keys etc. The food is so good that we ate in it most evenings everything is homemade even the chips the homemade desserts were something to look forward to. My girls didn't want to leave it in the evening because they had made friends and didn't want to go anywhere same as ourselves made really good friends which added to the holiday, feel jealous that they are going back this year and we're not can see why people return year after year. Has a really lovely atmosphere and the family are lovely really make u feel welcome. Very clean, excellent service and beautiful gardens. Will definitely stay again in these apartments. One of the nicest places we have stayed.
