“Sidari Beach”
Reviewed 17 April 2014

First stayed in Sidari in 1985 . Then a beautiful fishing village with 2 or 3 hotels and a long sandy beach ideal for families . The beach is still there but much more commercialised and now surrounded by bars and appartments and no longer the peaceful venue that it was.

“Views of Albania from the beach”
Reviewed 14 April 2014

Beach was firm sand and grit, but the water is clean and safe. Most of the restaurants on one side of the strip have rear entrances out onto the beach.

“Good Beach for Everyone”
Reviewed 5 April 2014

It is one of the best beaches I have ever seen, and, probably, the only one, where everybody can find the place to have a rest at his own taste. But let us discuss it point by point.

It is really big, so you will not have the problems with finding the place.

The second point is that the deck chairs (or beds, as locals call it) there cost 2.5 euro (in Acharavi, the neighbouring village) they cost 5 euros.

It is sandy, so you will not have any discomfort with stones or platformsm which is important, if you have small children or elderly people in your company.

The next thing is that it can be divided into two zones - the "normal" beach - the one with just sand and sea, and the "beautiful one" - with many lagoons, where the famous "Canal D'Amour" (Chanel of Love) is situated, so you may change your scenery every day.

And in this very part you can find many cafes, where you can get a deck chair and shower for free, on condition you will eat something there. so, you will have all the comfort, even if you arrived from another Corfu villages to see Canal D'Amour.

So my advice is "don't miss it".
