This was a fantastic location for a girly holiday. The rooms were clean & well equipped. The bar/pool areas are immaculate. The food is lovely too. Brilliant value breakfast to soak up the hangover.
Over and above all of this is the very lovely paula. She is a superstar. There isnt anything this lady wouldnt do to make yr holiday the best it can be. She is fabulous. Thank u paula from 4 very grateful 'sexy girls' . Yr words not ours.

My boyfiend and I have just returned from a week's stay at Stema, and wished we had booked for longer, it was such a lovely relaxing holiday and the staff were so friendly, nothing was too much hassle for them..
If you want a quiet holiday, then just along the path to the beach front, there are a few taverna's, but if you would like something a bit more lively then a further 5 minutes walk and you come to the strip which has alot of restaurants and bars to choice from, this is also where the bigger beach is and you don't have to pay for the sunbeds, which is always a bonus!
I would definitely recommend a trip in to Corfu Town, especially in to the Old Town, there is so much to see, but this is an hour's boat ride each way which costs 30 euro's each. The only down side, was the amount of times we were bit by the mosquito's, even with applying lotion/sprays to keep them away, i'm still itching now :o)
I will definitely be returning to Stema in the future.

Stayed here with my wife for two weeks in August and like other reviewers have said, it is a super place to stay. Just book it. George who hires out the boats just down the road is a very nice but do rent out a boat, its a fabulous experience and great value for two hours..

We stayed in Stema in August and found the apartments great, the shower could do with an overhall but mainly just what you would expect on a Greek island. The hotel is down a long unmade lane which can be a bit testing to walk up and down every day. The strip of sand at the end is good and sunbeds are 7 euros for 2 and a parasol. If you walk to the main Sidari beach (about 15 minutes) and park yourself on the sunbeds at the back of Calypso you can get a full English breakfast (which is big and only 3.50 euros each) and then your sunbeds are free all day. Bargain!!!The main shopping strip has something for everyone and if I were to recommend some restaurants they would be El Greco, Cappriccio and Calypso. The staff at Stema are very friendly and helpful and the owners grandson is the cutest little boy I have ever seen. Would definitely go back.

Just returned from Stema with my 13year old daughter. It was a very peaceful place which was essily accessibilty to Sidara & the strip & the beach . We really El Greco which is only only 5 minutes away & luckily there are plenty of choices of eating places. The people were so friendly especially at the Stema the BBQ night was great fun. Would love to go back, and would like to take the opportunity to recommend Stema to anyone who is thinking of going to Corfu that is a good choice

Went here in August as a family of 4, 2 adults and 2 teenage girls. Loved the apartments and location. Apartments may be a bit dated but cleaned regularly and all perfectly located to the pool. Overall they are 2 minutes walk from the beach so never felt the need to pay for beds on the beach, just walked from the pool down the lane and went for a swim in the sea - gorgeous. Main street close by with plenty of tribute acts in the bars - something for everyone - finished the evening in the crossroads bar with their free wifi and cheap drink. Best place to eat was definitely The Sunset. Restaurant with its spicy currys and definitely the best steaks in Sidari (and the biggest). 4 meals, 4 soft drinks and a litre jug of wine for less than 45 euros - hard to beat. Loved it so much we have booked for next year.

Room Tip: Plenty of ATMs. Take mosquito spray as they are a problem. Try Sunset Restaurant at least once the...

my family have just returned from stema after a lovely hot week.the outside of apartments looked nice, pool and bar area spotless, but when we went in our room 137 we were quite dissapointed with it.the furnishings and decor were very tired, bathroom ceiling and tiles mouldy .the shower head kept dropping off and never ran warm,it s agood job i like cool showers in 30 plus degree heat.just alick of paint and new towels and furnishings would be good.the size and storage was good but could definately do with a overhaul.from other reviews i read i can only think some rooms are in better condition.but never mind holiday overall was good and try the Capriccio restaraunt on sea front, lovely.
