“Cheap and cheerful Corfu break!”
Reviewed 15 June 2014

I travelled here with my best friend at the end of May. We went all inclusive and the price was very reasonable. We weren't expecting much for the price but we were pleasantly surprised! When we were shown to our room, we were told that we had one of the best rooms and he wasn't wrong. It was clean and spacious with a balcony with a nice view into the hills. The only negative thing was the size of the bathroom, it was tiny and could have been bigger as the room was huge. The shower was warm and quite powerful, but a bit temperamental. The room was cleaned daily and fresh towels and sheets were given every other day, beds were always made up nicely. The pool and the restaurant were also always clean and tidy.

The staff were excellent. The receptionists were very helpful and one lady called Maria lent us an adaptor for the stay as ours broke on the second night. The other lady with the curly hair gave us a hug when we left to go home. The restaurant and bar staff never stopped, picking up cups from by the pool, clearing tables and serving drinks with a smile all night. The gentleman Costas remembered my name from the first night and always took the time to greet us. When we left, we got free shots and lots of hugs and kisses, the staff really are lovely here. They tried their best with the entertainment, there was bingo, a greek night which we missed and there was karaoke pretty much every night - but it was a good laugh as the staff always joined in.

The food was the only thing about this hotel that wasn't exceptional. Although it was always hot and fresh, it wasn't very varied from day to day and there wasn't a great deal of choice. However, there was always something tasty to eat and it was decent food for the money.

Overall I would recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a cheap all inclusive break. The surrounding is amazing - the hotel is about a 10 minute walk from the nearest beach, and about 10 minutes from the centre of Sidari with its many bars, restaurants and shops.

Very nice atmosphere, good food, quite ok drinks but not great. Rooms, ok. One of the best in Sidari, maybe the best one. Good for couples and families. Many people from England, Russia. Near canal d amour.

I have just arrived home from a week at Summertime and can't wait to go back! Maria put me, my sister, son (17) and niece (14) in the best room! We have an upstairs bedroom with balcony as well as a downstairs balcony, 2 toilets and plenty or space. The rooms were clean and amazingly situated, where it didn't feel like a mission if you needed to go back to the room for anything. The rooms were cleaned every other day with change of bed sheets and towels. Bins were emptied daily.

Entertainment in the hotel was varied and depending on what you like, overall pretty good. The Greek night was great fun and getting up to dance was brilliant! If you're not a 'participator' it's fun enough to watch. Most other nights it was Kareoke, dancing and drinking. If this bores you, the hotel is situated close enough to the main road in Sidari to walk in about 5 minutes where you'll find everything to enterain you.

Food. I can understand why some people do not like it, but if you come on holiday and only want British food, you'll not find it here. The food is Greek and it is lovely! They do put out chips and there is a lovely cooked breakfast in the mornings, but for the majority, it's Greek. What they lack in variety they make up for in quality. There is no fatty puddings at lunch time, you will find fruit and greek yoghurt. For the evening meal, they have one pudding and the requisite fruit/yoghurt combo. For salad lovers, it'll be heaven!

Drinks. I thought the drinks were great! We certainly tried all of them! The fact that the AI bar closes at 11 is nice and the bar is still full of life. (Our mezzo was fairly close to the pool/bar area and didn't hear any noise from it) Kostas likes people to have fun and he is the most amazing hotel manager I have ever met! We miss him already!

Pool. Was blooming freezing! It has been sorry weather for the week before we arrived but over the time we were there it became more bearable as the ambient temperature rose. The pool was clean and well cared for like everything else.

Water in the hotel has been filtered so you will not get the usual bad tummy if you use it to brush your teeth.

There is loads to do in Sidari and the surrounding areas and I can't wait to go back!

Thank you to Maria, Kosta (manager), Kosta (Barman) and all of the staff at Sumemrtime for making our holiday amazing! WE WILL SEE OUR LOVELY GREEK FAMILY ALL AGAIN SOON!

Room Tip: Email ahead and ask if you have a preffered choice. We didn't want ground floor and was so happ...

We arrived here in the early hours of 27th may. Our room was a small double room, I had booked a twin as I was with my son. Never the less it was sorted the next morning by the lovely Maria on reception. We changed to a larger twin room. Rooms are basic but very clean, its all you need to get your head down, and to shower and change. I loved the food, although a little cold at times. It was tasty and edible.
What really makes this place is the staff. Excellent service, very friendly, polite, and helpful. If you need to know about anythingsuch as booking trips, hiring a quad/bike/car, local transport, and places to visit etc, just ask Maria at reception and she is always helpful.
For the money we paid it was excellent value, and I would certainly return here.

We stayed her for two nights as part of a hen do. We had quite a spacious room. Fairly basic but clean none the less. We opted for all inclusive- this included food which was different each day that we were there. Not always the best choice. One of our friends was a vegetairan and there was very little choice for her. Staff were incredibly efficient at clearing away empty plates.

The bar was also very basic but available all day which was nice. It is a self service bar but this was not a problem. The hotel was about a fifteen minute walk to thebeach. There was several shops bars and restaureants nearby.

The pool area was well maintained and ample sunbeds, although there was so many you didnt have much personal space.

I would recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: There is a small block just outside the hotel- as for those they are bigger than the standard rooms
