“Lovely Bungalow”
Reviewed 19 June 2016 for a stay in June 2016

This was an ideal bungalow to stay in with children and grandparents. Granddad had his own space in the master bedroom with a walk in shower which was ideal due to limited mobility. The children's room was small but adequate and the living room plus conservatory gave enough space for everyone to do their own thing. The cottage was clean and based in a quiet village with a pub and children's play area. Perfect for shorts trips out.

“Wonderful weekend, gorgeous location ”
Reviewed 22 November 2015 for a stay in November 2015

We arrived in the snow to a wonderful, warm inviting bungalow with breathtaking surroundings! The bungalow had all we needed and more and was very clean and comfortable. We spent a lot of time in Aberdyfi at the beach with our new puppy and also had a nice afternoon looking around the shops in Machynlleth and took back a cake to enjoy with a cup of tea. We had dinner down at the Riverside pub and the food was superb, we definitely would recommend booking and going there as its only a short walk from the bungalow. We will definitely be visiting again!! The owners have been lovely and helpful too and there is a folder with lots of ideas for days out nearby. Thank you.

“Excellent Facilities, Nice & Quiet location”
Reviewed 29 April 2015 for a stay in April 2015

Very clean, tidy and aired on arrival. All rooms comfortable with plenty of home comforts e.g. big flat screen TV (freeview), Wi-Fi, 4 nice sofas and a lovely conservatory to chill out in. You do get dazzled in here when sunny so could do with blinds to make more comfortable.

Kitchen has everything you would need for self catering including decent sized fridge, freezer, cooker, and washing machine/dryer. Bathrooms are clean and in good condition and beds for the most part are comfy.

As renting property for a holiday goes you will not go far wrong here. I can understand why the guest comments book has visitors who have been here multiple times as it is a 'home from home’ feel.

For shopping the nearest small town Machynlleth has Co-op and Spa sized stores (we thought a bit pricey) but if you want a proper stock up for a week or so to make the break more cost effective there is a Morrisons, Lidl and Iceland about 40 minutes (20 odd miles away in Aberystwyth. This a pleasant journey to a fantastic seaside town. If you like seaside town’s with plenty of nice walks, beaches, cafés and stunning view with very few amusement arcades this is the place to be.

“Lovely area”
Reviewed 14 September 2014 for a stay in September 2014

We stayed here for a week with our son granddaughter ,partner and dog. Lovely views from conservatory, clean and cosy bungalow, lovely area with beach at aberdovery about 10 miles away. Nice walks from the bungalow . Only fault was garden not enclosed so not safe for dog or granddaughter to explore. Nice patio area ,does have some steps to sheds ect so have to watch small children.

“Everything we could ask for, with a few tips at the end”

My husband and another couple shared Netherliegh and were very comfortable. The beds, queen-size by American standards, but king by British standards, were very comfortable. The power showers were great, the dishwasher, washer/dryer worked great, and the cutlery and crockery were plentiful; all in all it was just what we wanted. Situated on a quiet street in a sweet little town, well situated for all our day trips. We were there a week.
The oven did prove challenging, as there were no markings of any kind so we had to guess at where the temps were that we wanted to use, and there was a loose piece of glass inside the door that slid forward when you opened it and was very hot, so two of us had to work it together. Paul said they would get someone out to fix it and I'm sure they will.
Americans: you need to bring your own towels. They do provide a hand towel and dish towel and dish cloth. Soap was provided in the kitchen. There was no coffee maker, but they have everything else.
The house is on the street before the bridge next to the church. Easy to spot with the lovely conservatory.
The Roman fort, known as Cefn Caer, and the current house situated there, was very interesting and walking distance (the opposite side of town). Mr. Elfen Rowland has devoted his life to it's restoration and is a wonderful and entertaining guide. Call for reservation.
Many other suggestions made by others, especially the Riverside, are recommended here.
We were truly blessed with mild often sunny days the whole week and were so grateful as we know that is uncommon.
WiFi was excellent.

Just got back from a 1 week stay in Netherleigh with my husband and my daughter and her family. Had a fantastic time bungalow very comfortable, clean, warm, and cosy. Fantastic views from all aspects. Would recommend to family and friends. Location lovely, quiet, but plenty of places to visit nearby.

Would recommend the train trip from Machellynth to Barmouth - coastal track - fantasic views.

Also if you wanted to go out for a meal then the Riverside Pub is recommended, but book first!

“Lovely Birthday Weekend”

My girlfriend treated me to a lovely weekend away to this beautiful bungalow. We had everything that we needed and were really comfortable there! We went for a meal down at the local pub and it was fantastic, I definitely would recommend going.

There is lots to do nearby with Mac one way and Aberdyfi the other. We will definitely be coming back again soon. I can't think of a nicer place for the price - and the owners are lovely and very helpful.
