Ok,many people have given this hotel the review it most certainly deserves, and here is ours.Close to the airport,no problem just a 5 min 10 euro taxi drive so forget transfers.Family run hotel, and once you stay there, you become part of that wonderful family that works so hard for you to enjoy your holiday.I think the home cooked food is the best I have tasted, never the same in seven days with a good choice. We couldn`t have asked for a better holiday, rooms excellent ,roomy with great wardrobe space and cleaned every day, great shower cubicle.Spotless! The grounds and pool are kept to a standard far exceeding our expectations, great bar area too.Wish we could have stayed longer,Zanthi, your a star,as is your sister Sophia. How do you manage to work so hard and then your non-stop smiles every time a guest appears is infectious and one can`t help to feel good.Alex,Anthonio at the bar work tirelessly,Stavros in the restaurant bar too!Maria the mum cooks the most delicious food, always fresh and varied, Sophia`s deserts are to die for !!Not forgetting little Nicholas who gave us so much entertainment with his dancing and his timing is perfect and he`s not even 2 yet ! All in all probably the nicest, family run hotel we have stayed, and to get the quality of food as well, this place cannot be beaten. The people we met ( and you know who you are),made our stay so much more too for the laughter we shared, thanks x .A car can help you see more of Rhodes of course, as we did hire one from reception for the day ,but the bus runs from the road every half hour if you want get out more.Already planning for next year, thanks again Vllian

Three couples stayed May 2014.
Excellent value place to stay this was our first visit to Rhodes.
We arrived late so all inclusive had finished no problem ,we were told we could purchase a pizza from behind the bar and they were delicious.
We were escorted to our rooms which were lovely and clean. A book on the bar explained all you needed to know about times for meals etc. We hired a safety deposit box 10€ for the week which are situated in the reception area.

The rooms were cleaned every day and towels plus bedding which I have never encountered in Greece before. Plenty of toilet roll supply as well as shampoo and shower gel. One day the maid shaped our top sheet into the shape of a boat. The rooms are a bit tired but for what you pay we expected worse. Plenty of coat hangers ..another first. Loved the shower cubicle as never had that in Greece either. We were in the block up near the little church ground floor and it was very quiet.
The grounds were well cared for with an assortment of various fruit trees, the gardener worked very hard.
The pool was lovely to swim in and plenty of sun beds even though not many of the wooden ones with mattress cover but we managed to get one most days, plenty of blue ones if they all go.

The bar was quite quick at serving bit hit and miss at size of drinks but hey you have all day. The little plastic beakers a bit flimsy to hold though. Tried a few cocktails but not overly fussed with them ,but the red wine which we drink was lovely. Tried a draught beer shandy which I enjoyed. Some members of our group found it a bit tiresome getting up and down for refills though.

The restaurant well what can I say it lived up to its reputation lovely tasty traditional greek home cooked food. Not much choice but enough to enjoy same with the Desserts most were to die for yummm. Drinks served at table.

The only negative to us was the beach and lack of places to walk as we do like to walk. We did walk to Tholos one day and did not enjoy it as there are no footpaths felt wrong walking on the road.

Regards to Zanthi and Sophie who was always smiling they work very hard like the rest of the family. We absolutely loved our time at this family run hotel and would go back hopefully at some stage .

Myself and my partner loved our stay here in July 2013. We paid for all inclusive and were thrilled by the quality of the food. It was fantastic value for money! We weren't bothered by the planes flying over, although you do notice them at first, you forget about them after the first day. The staff were wonderful, extremely friendly and happy to help. We came back after site seeing on the Sunday to find a special Greek entertainment evening and wonderful buffet had been put on for the guests and it was absolutely brilliant. The music, dancers and food were just superb, a real highlight of our stay there. We would definitely love to go back there again!!

As many reviewers have pointed out, the hotel is fairly basic but fantastically clean and the staff cannot do enough for you, nothing is too much trouble. Yes, the planes do come over fairly low as the airport is very close but you do get used to it. For value for money it's brilliant. The bus stop is at the end of the road, which can take you to Rhodes Town or connections to other towns for quite a reasonable price and it was ok, reliable and clean, although busy. Rhodes Town is well worth a visit and Lindos was beautiful but as it was August, very very hot.
The only criticism we had (and I am loathe to call it that) was that while the 4 adults in our party were more than happy, the 3 children (2 x 10yr old and 1 x 4 yr old) got a little bored in the evening. We took playing cards and board games but if we were to go again (and I am sure we will) we would look at taking other things to entertain them.

This is a gorgeous little gem of a hotel! Me and my boyfriend stayed at the Vallian Village Hotel in August 2013. After reading mixed reviews we decided to book with a positive attitude and we are really glad we did.
Let me start off by saying that you get what you pay for. There is no frills or added extra's so don't be naive that when you get such a good deal that you go and expect the Ritz.
But if you are looking for a lovely, relaxing quiet break with lovely staff, a clean room, a nice clean big pool and great food then this is spot on.

The airport is a stone's throw away so just get a taxi, i'm not too sure how much it was (maybe about 10 euro's) but we shared with someone else as the airport was so busy when we landed and the taxi driver did try to rip us off and get 10 euro's off us each when he realised we weren't together so I would try and get a taxi on your own!
We arrived quite late and were seen too straight away with a warm welcome, helped with our suitcases and shown our room.
The room was an ordinary room that you would get anywhere. Tiled floor, balcony, wardrobe, bathroom, that sort of thing. The room was a decent size for just the 2 of us and it was cleaned daily and was brill for what we wanted. (Somewhere to sleep, shower and get changed.)
We couldn't hear the planes when we were sleeping, and in the day time around the pool it was quite fun to see which ones went over and they didn't really stop conversation or anything!

Me or my boyfriend got up at around 7/half 7 to get sunbeds and that wasn't a problem. We stayed on the side nearest to the hotel as that was where the sun was all throughout the day. The pool was cleaned every morning and heated up quickly in the sun.

Breakfast was lovely, it wasn't always the full fry up but they did have little sausages, fried egg, omelet, beans, different jams, cakes, bread, fruit but was all delicious. They had orange and apple juice, water, coffee, hot chocolate, tea, everything you could need!
Lunch was great as well, in fact all the food was! For lunch and dinner they always had 2 different meats, different potatoes, veg and pasta, lots of salad, bread etc. Then they had 1 desert which was normally a cake or some fruit. Its all brilliant home cooked food and its all delicious.

The pool bar opened at around 10am and you could get all your fruit juices and soft drinks. Then later in the day you could get beer and wine and then at night it was cocktails, spirits, anything you wanted. They weren't stingy on the size of the drinks like some places can be AI, and they were always happy to serve you and always very polite. By the end of the 2 weeks, the bar men knew what we were ordering and had it done by the time you walked over!
There was no entertainment at night but there is music playing and me and my boyfriend just played cards and had fun together so it wasn't a problem at all. You could also order pizza, get crisps and water from the bar and they were reasonable prices as well. Oh! and they had ice cream during the day which was complimentary, and there was surprisingly a lot of flavors! Pistachio, vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, lemon, and mint. It quickly became a favorite part of the day.

They have a kids play area too, but that didn't affect us.

The location wasn't an issue for us, it could be if you wanted a really bustling and exciting holiday as it is quite far out. There was a shop literally 5/10 minute walk away and we got extra water and crisps for our room and it was really reasonable. We also got the bus twice to Rhodes town and it isn't as bad as people make out. We were stood up for 5 minutes on the first one and then sat down for the rest of the journey, and the second time we got seats straight away and it literally feels like a 20 minute journey! Its lovely to look at the scenery as well on the way there.
The beach was gorgeous and quiet and we went down a few times (and I hate pebble beaches!) and it didn't phase me whatsoever, and thats a 5 minute walk too.
We also went to the butterfly valley which was really nice, and they ordered us a taxi that came straight away which was good value too.
When we were leaving they had a shower for us to use after the day and we had dinner before we left as well. When I went to book the taxi back to the airport they actually offered to take us back free of charge which was fab. They hugged us goodbye, said thank you and were genuinely really nice hosts.

Just all in all it was a really nice holiday and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to friends and family that wanted a cheap, relaxing holiday where the weather is great and people can't do enough for you.

It is a lovely hotel in a quite area even though the airport is fairly close it wasn't much of a deal. The staff was very attentive and the meals tasted very nice, proper home-made Greek food. Although, I would recommend to have a car if staying there.

Room Tip: if you want a good wi-fi reception get a room near the bar :)

Fantastic hotel.

First of all, we have visited Vallian Village in September 2012. Only for one night. We were so happy, pool, room... Near sea and beach! I was a little bit ill, but they made for me special tea (for free, we have only breakfast).

After one year, my girlfriends family wants to visit Rhodes too in September (cheaper accommodation beside summer high season). So we recommend this hotel. And it wasnt mistake. Really not. They had all inclusive and they returned so satisfied. Good choice of food, no problem to order alcoholic or nonalcoholic drink. Kitchen made for 16year old girl vegetarian food... Maybe only one mistake - room for three people was small.

Now - 102 excellent x 2 terrible.

!!!Notice for that two people, who have some complaints about location!!!: Oh my god, so you must check, where is the hotel. If you dont like aircrafts, do not go there... It is simple! We love to see big planes near us, it was fun, we make interesting photos... And: they will not disturb you, they arent flying in night.

What about traveling? Buses in Rhodes are a little weird, no normal timetable, but you can wait and go to Rhodes Town for 2,6 euros.

What about shopping? Nearest shop - not so small, but not big, is in Paradisi village - Carrefour express, approximately 15 minutes walk.
