“Excellant vallian village.”

Myself and my friend have just returned from an 11 night all inclusive stay at vallian village. Couldn't fault it at all, very very friendly and acommadating owners who work extremely hard to make sure you have a great holiday. The food was excellent with a good variety. Fairly quite location but plenty of buses and car hire available. The beach is a short walk away and is beautiful. We would definatly return. Many thanks to zantye , Sophia and all the family for a wonderful holiday. love from sharron and wendy xx.

Room Tip: Sea view is amazing but all rooms lovely.

This is a family run hotel and because of it is very personal and the staff all treat each person as an individual. I can only only agree with most of the previous positive comments of the friendliness of the staff, the home cooked food with plenty of choice. The accommodation was very clean with modern en-suites fully tiled. For a budget hotel with a 3 star rating I don't think you will get better value. One thing I would advise is that you do not book transfers. I did and it cost £27 per person costing £54 in total for two of us. Most people got a taxi with various amounts of between 6 and 10 Euros each way. A maximum of 20 Euros return and no hassle of waiting for others and having to book return journey 2 days beforehand. Save yourself a little cash this way.

We returned to the Vallian Village after going there in August 2013, we were welcomed with hugs from the Family and made our stay well worth the return visit.
As has been previously mentioned the food is home cooked and has a very good variety which was very tasty.
I will be returning again in August again this year and in June next year as many other people do on a yearly basis, which says it all.
A massive thank you to all the fantastic staff for another greatly enjoyable stay.

This hotel offers huge value for the "all inclusive package". We loved every minute of it and served exactly our holiday needs. Do not expect 5 star hotel fixtures and Jamie Oliver preparing lobster in the kitchen for dinner as one reviewer clearly expected.
The facts are-
This is a family run hotel and they clearly work very hard to ensure everyone has best stay possible as they really do go that extra mile. They will arrange car hire, taxi's and local tours if you wish.
The rooms are spotless, with towels + sheets changed daily.
The food was home cooked with a good array of European and Greek cuisine to try and cater for their guests which come from many different countries.
The free bar offered local wine, spirits and beers etc which was of an acceptable quality, together with soft drinks and the choice of free ice cream in the afternoon was an unexpected bonus
The pool and leisure area were very pleasant and well kept with a mix of open and shaded areas and sufficient sun beds.
There is a beach about 500 yards away but is stoney, with deep strong tides so may not be suitable for children.
Planes pass overhead as the runway is very close, this needs to be considered but we actually found it interesting and it didn't bother us one bit.
It is a rural location with no town to walk to in the evening but there is a bus stop 200 yards away that takes you into Rhodes town. There are a few small holdings nearby which produce sounds of the cock crowing and dogs barking so consider this if you are a light sleeper or take some ear plugs but again did not bother us and added to the character of the setting.
All in all the value was amazing, every member of the staff were lovely and we would go back tomorrow - loved it!

Me and my boyfriend stayed at this hotel for a week and the only thing we would change about it is that the evenings can be a bit boring due to no entertainment and it's location!

Apart from that it is fantastic! The location part isn't a massive issue as there is a bus and you can book excursions! We were able to spend almost every day at somewhere different without any problems!

The staff are absolutely lovely and make an effort to know each guest individually! They even made us special vegetarian food which you would not get in a bigger hotel. The pool is lovely as are the rooms, even if they are basic. The beach is a ten minute walk and is absolutely beautiful.

If I ever returned to Rhodes, I would definitely stay at this hotel again!

What a little gem of a hotel. The hotel itself is spotlessly clean, as is the pool and the surrounding gardens. The family that run this hotel are so accommodating and treat each guest like family! The food is cooked by "Mama" and I have to say it is totally lovely!!! A great choice of mains and salads not so much in the dessert area tho. Alex the barman is a total star and remembers your drinks every time! My 10 year old was the only child here at the time unfortunately, and there isn't a lot for kids to do, apart from pool and air hockey, but the staff treated him so well he didn't really have time to get lonely!! Zanthea and Sofia were the most wonderful smiley hosts and we totally love them!!! Sofia even gave us a lift back to the airport on departure day! (Amid lots of tears and hugs!) Yes the airport is only a 10 minute drive away and yes the planes do fly overhead quite low, but it lasts about 5 seconds and then its peaceful again. You do get used to it actually! Unfortunately, the beach was pretty awful, in fact it was just plain disgusting, I really hope they clean it up as it could be quite lovely. If you're looking for just a good old lazy week of R&R and good food, then this is definitely for you, if you are looking for fun and excitement then its definitely not!!

We stayed at vallian a few weeks back and although we had a pleasant time it was by no means a 5 star experience as these ratings suggest. The main things I care about with Ai are food pool entertainment and drinks.
Food - avoid breakfast. Same same every day hot food consists of fried egg, weird sausages, beans and strange bacon. Lack of cereals and yoghurt. Lunch and dinner are always served too you school dinner style. I agree at times its very good but it is also, at times, plain and oily. All cooked by the nan of the family. You will find dishes that were on the lunch menu reused in a different way for dessert. Deserts were normally a moose or choice of one cake and melon. No snacks during other hours.
Pool- very very deep. Not good for young children. Baby pool small and still deep for under twos. Badly maintained around edges. In our week there two people tripped on outer pool plastic sticking up. Pool itself is clean however.
Entertainment - none.
Beer - taste is ok. Can't remember the name of it but it is not well known. Served in plastic cups which are in dire need of replacing.

Staff are fantastic they do everything possible for you. The hotel is really tough to rate when you factor in the price which is so cheap. Overall feeling on departure was we had a good time but did not get the usual ai experience. You will leave satisfied and relaxed but not rushing to come back. The staff are that nice that I can't help feel people do not want to leave anything negative on here.
And yes its noisy but it did not affect us in the day. Night times were a bit more touch and go and would say bring good earplugs. This is not a 5 star hotel or experience and it does not claim to be but please do not let these ratings lead you to believe you are in for something special. It's your average 3 star with fantastic staff.
