I can't really add anything to the recent reviews of Achill Lodge, it's all been said. The welcome I received was just right, the food was gorgeous....Bernie you're a great cook! If you're lucky you might get to meet all the family & have a bit of craic...it was mighty and I was just drinking tea!!
I was there for three nights & would definately go back. Thanks for everything.

We, a family of two adults and three teens have just returned from a visit to Achill Island where we stayed in the Achill Lodge. We would normally stay in a hotel or self catering as B&B/guesthouse can be a bit claustrophobic and imposing for our lot. This place has the best of the hospitality a b&b gives with the freedom/flexibility to come and go whenever you wish as a small hotel can give. We found this great as the weather was pretty poor and we had to depend on using the rooms more than we expected to. The rooms were lovely spacious and very clean. We could make tea and use the dining room at any time throughout the day. Breakfast was freshly cooked, well presented with plenty of it. Aisling and Bernie made us feel very welcome and comfortable for the three days we spent there. We loved Pure Magic for eating and were very well looked after for surfing gear by surfing with Toma's on the main beach in Keel. Thanks Bernie and Aisling

Really lovely, stylish and non imposing. We were left to ourselves but we knew the family were there if we needed them, like if we wanted to come into their own home for tea. Breakfast was yum, proper Irish food and plenty of it! Rooms gorgeous and comfy. Will defo return. Thank you Ashling and Bernie.

A very friendly welcome on arrival . W e had just done a three hour journey and we were given complimentary tea sandwiches, and cake which was welcomed. The staff were so friendly, and the suite we stayed in was very spacious clean and had a balcony which gave us the most breath taking views. It was only a five min drive to Keel beach which is so beautiful. It also is great value for money. Thanks again for everything to the staff and owners of The Achill Lodge.

I booked three rooms for my friends and I in achill lodge the weekend of the half marathon. The staff were helpful friendly and couldn't do enough for us. The rooms were clean and quiet. Though it was a 5 min drive from Keel it was no distance and it was convenient

A very warm and friendly welcome on our arrival and throughout our stay. Rooms were all unique and very comfortable. My friends and I done the half marathon and were impressed to see the B&B also had a running machine...not that any of us used it :) Owners give us a lift into centre for our night out and also picked us up from the pub later that night which we really appreciated. Superb views and lovely breakfast. Most definitely will be back again.
Many thanks for all your hospitality.
