I stayed here right at the start of the season with my 3 friends, rooms basic for self catering beds not so comfortable with shower room and balcony lovely view off pool but way to close for music at night but we got cheap price so thought take good with the bad. Then food from the barn restaurant was ok done really good pizza. Nice pool area. Half way through the week our rep came to our apartment with the news that cleaner had reported the towels as being damages and to pay of 30 euros the towels only had make up on them so I hand washed them all make up came out and they still chargered 10 euros! if staying here be very careful as this is how they make money chargers for damages that aren't really damages!!!!!! Owner is not the friendliest rather the opposite quiet intimidating. Bar staff and restaurant staff friendly and inviting. Our club rep (18 - 30) nice enough but rather pushy to sell excursions done a few which a enjoy. Good basic hotel for price aimed at young holiday goes as u can't sleep in this hotel and don't dare dirty the sheets or towels!!!!!!!!!!

Room Tip: room 101 to close to bar for noise at night

When I arrived here with 6 of my friends early afternoon we were all sat at the bar waiting to be taken to our rooms.. we booked 3 different rooms 2,2+3 in a room. Firstly they took my friends to show them their room while we waited at the bar untill he came back. They had great pool view rooms next door to wach other sharing a balcony and then us... well the kaparis has 2 sections of the hotel they stuck us in the other section over the road to the main part of the hotel facing a gutter. Lots of trees no sun and it was absoloutly stinking of sewage! Rooms were basic. Not often cleaned. Shower rooms stunk. Well I say shower rooms it wasnt really a shower... it was a shower head which you had to hold above you to get washed. After 10 minutes of been in the room the reps nocked on our door asking us to join our friends in there room so they could talk to us. Ok we went to our friends room where they were trying to sell us all the events boat trips foam partys pub crawls etc all together they wanted sumwhat 300-400 each off us. Silly us paid them then once we actually got sorted to go look around we noticed we could buy these events elsewhere off other people for like £10 we were totally ripped off.. we went and asked for our money back we got told no!! They told us our money had been sent to the office and if we wanted our money back we would have to write a letter and wait to see if it gets approved. Omg first day there and I was already peed off!! Pool was quite small and discusing floating condoms plasters etc. I didnt step foot in the pool once. We spent most of our days at a pool down the road on beach it had relaxing music on great staff and great sunbeds. Although it was a 'gay pool' not at all lively if thats what your looking for we really enjoyed staying there every day.
Forgot his name but the owner of kaparis what a nob aswell. I asked several times for him to change our rooms next to our friends and his answer was no all the time apparently there were no other free rooms which was BULL! place is a wasp fest aswell you couldnt have breakfast without being chased by wasps.
Highly reccomend the foam party. Boat party was poor. What ever all inclusive party you go to be prepared for watered down cheap spirits. Drinks were quite expensive in the hotel but when you got out on the strip you got lots of good deals (just to get you in the bar)..
I would definitely return to kavos but in a different hotel!.

We stayed here in June last year a group of 4 girls the weather was AMAZING! They had a heat wave the week we stayed reaching into the 40s some days. (these days we tended to stay in the barn). We was thankful that the hotel was at the end of the strip so it was quieter than other hotels and only a 5 min walk to the strip.

Hotel overall - We had a problem as soon as we got here at 5am. We payed for an apartment only to be put in to 2 rooms for the first 3 days then we was moved across the road. Overall i would say this hotel is clean and it just a bed to sleep in at the end of the night and to have a shower before hand. The owner of the hotel isn't the friendliest. Once we moved to our apartment we PAID for the aircon for it not to work! He wouldn't give us our money back but only offer us to put the money towards a meal in the barn which is their bar/restaurant smack bacng in the middle of the hotel.

Activities - After reading numerous reviews about not buying the packages off the reps i wish i had listened! They are roughly 30 to 40 euro each which often only includes entry and a total RIP OFF! We paid for the full moon party which was crap. Most people were sneaking in from the beach and not paying. I would recommend the foam party which is in the day time and the paint party! Silent disco was rubbish and the bar crawls were much fun either. you must do some water sports! they are fab and reasonably priced. you can get a package of the jet skis for 15 mins and a choice of 2 water activities for 75 euro. we did the sofa inflatable and the rubber rings! MENTAL!

Kavos itself - It is a small strip. There are around 20 bars and probably 3 or 4 clubs at the most. Although we did have a great holiday, at the end of the day its what you make of it.

My only thing to suggest is definitely DONT buy the party packages off the reps! You can get them much cheaper off the club hosts or just tag along! More often than not we would see people sneaking in on some of these nights! The reps were ok.... I dont really know what was 18 to 30s about the holiday as there were no games or activities around the pool in the day just the bar crawls and parties at night. Personally i wouldn't go back to Kavos but we did have a great holiday.

Room Tip: We had an apartment which was over the road away from the actual complexion which we thought was gre...

I stayed here the beginning of September with 2 friends. The hotel was basic and you had to pay for your own air-con. The hotel was only cleaned twice while staying here and this didn't include changing bedsheets or towels. One toilet roll was provided for the weeks stay so we had to go buy some. I ended up buying kitchen roll and the cleaners used it to clean the room!
Rep's trying to sell things as soon as you got there was a pain in the bum.
THE BARN IS AMAZING THOUGH. The bar staff and food were good, thoroughly made the holiday. I'd come again just for the barn.

This hotel is very basic, its fine if all your looking for is somewhere to sleep. Although sleep is hard to come by with all the noise. Its an 18-30 hotel so noise is expected. Whatever you do, dont buy any thing off the reps. Soon as you get in the door there trying to sell you loads of event tickets. All the tickets are overpriced and you can get them in the clubs for nearly half the price

Kaparis (and Kavos generally) has got to be one of the worst package destinations I've been to. Stayed with 7 girls so 8 of us all together for a week and including flights/transfers it cost over £400pp. When you compare this to other package destinations and the quality of them it really isn't a good deal. Living costs are also much higher than Spain/other EU. For example; buying bottled booze in the shops was about a third to almost 50% more than usual.

We arrived to the transfers and the 'Strip' can only be described as about 8 bars and a couple of clubs, then the shops near the hotel are like they are made of wooden shacks! I know it is Greece and at the time they've been falling into disrepair so this may have been why everything was over priced and expensive. First of all the beach club pictures is where you swim/tan/drink but they also own a building across the road and up a lane the 'annex' which is where we were put. The Barn bar is essentially the reception (weird) the pool is quite small for the size of complex; if you do go here then try to make sure you get the main apartment buildings and not the annex we seen in the mains and they appeared much more spacious and better built.

The sheets and towels were never changed this also meant that the bins were not emptied. Also you can fit 4 people in each apartment; we were charged for 3 rooms as the site / agents only stated they fitted 3 people per room so we could have saved money here. The 18-30 packages on offer are rubbish and speaking as a group who've been to Ibiza, Majorca, Magaluf, Bulgaria we've pretty much seen them all and Kavos did not offer a lot and when they did it was really overpriced. It was very near the beach which is good as it was hot but as a resort in general it isn't great but you couldn't get away from it as the apartments were pretty dire. We were also only provided ONE yale key per room for 4 people? Annoying!

The air-con machines were pretty bad quality too and the bathroom well... it was a square shower tray, no curtain or cover and the shower head so you basically had to hold the head and in a way to try and not flood the bathroom. It was saved by good size balconies and the food in the Barn bar was nice. However given the choice we wouldn't return! Honestly even for a first group holiday - there is better out there , people!

Room Tip: Don't choose the Annex studio apartments.

I stayed here with a group of 9 lads. We all play for the same Sunday league football team and treated ourselves after a successful season. For me it was my first 18-30's holiday and I have to state that the reps Brad and Claire were first class. Nothing was too much trouble and they were always on hand to help you sort something out, answer a question or down a drink! Both are an absolute credit to the company and this review reflects the accommodation and not 18-30’s or their staff.

The hotel is located at the end of the resort where it's quieter, it's in the same complex as 'the barn, where everyone starts their night. You're spoilt for choice with regards supermarkets and restaurants but the barn offer a discount after 4pm. Our rooms had three beds each with a small kitchen area. The kitchen was filthy and the fridge was unplugged. The bathroom was more like a wet room with a shower tray. Again, this was grubby. The beds are wooden and aren't the best with the tatty off white sheets.

The pool is slightly on the small size but there are a good number of loungers. The lads enjoyed the two ping ping tables. Be careful around the pool as the plastic covering around the outside drain seemed to crack and break with very little weight on them! The showers near the toilets were full of building materials and fell apart when I turned them on.

If you are looking for the bare minimum then you'll be pleased. The newer block to the left of the pool features more modern rooms and shower but the bigger block resembles a tenement. Take a spare towel with you as the one provided is like a flannel. Another disappointing thing is that the cleaner only came in our room twice during the week and the second one was on the last day! You'll only be given one loo roll for the week so take wet wipes and a few spares!

The worst part of the stay were the 'damages' charged on the final day. The hotel charged our room 40€ for two 'ruined' bed sheets. Both sheets were slightly marked due to suntan lotion and sweat but as they were off white beforehand it wasn't surprising. Other rooms/groups were charged 70-80€ on average for sheets, towels and trivial things despite them being cleaned beforehand. Seems like they make up their money from these stealth taxes. Be careful! Seek out Thomas' laundrette who'll wash your clothes, sheets etc for a fraction of the cost.

Room Tip: Try and request the newer block. Take an extra towel. Buy extra loo rolls from supermarket (8 p...
