These owners are an absolute nightmare to work with. We couldn’t make it for the first night that we booked, and I was told I would receive a refund in 2-3 business days. It’s now been 6 weeks and nothing! I have called multiple times, left messages on their website contact form, and even texted! Nothing. They stole $100. They were responsive to needs while we were staying, but if you have issues before or after your stay - good luck! Also, to market this as a Zion camping is deceiving. It’s a solid 45 minutes to 1 hour drive to get to the entrance to Zion.
If you are travelling with a large group of friends, and you don't want to haul your own gear, this is a great option. If you are with your family, or looking for a "romantic getaway" do yourself a favor and stay in a real campground, or find a hotel. First- this site is an hour away from Zion. To call it "Zion luxury camping" is misleading. Our campsite consisted of: A tent, A bed, 1 1x1ft table, a firepit, a grill. No chairs, no flashlights, no extra blankets. The onsite toilets were being repaired, and instead they had temporary port-a-johns that were overfilling and disgusting. The campers next to us kept were noisy until 2am. Shortly after finally falling asleep, the campers on the other side of us just arrived, and woke us up by shining their headlights into our tent for several minutes. The operators don't stay onsite, so there are no regulations or enforcement of regulations, you are on your own. I would have much preferred to save $ and be in a regular campground, where at least I would have been prepared, or spent a little more and been comfortable and closer to the park.
Arrived the night of my booking to find an empty lot #2, save for a bed frame and a piece of wood.
Called the owner, who advised he "completely spaced my booking". Owner promised a refund which hasn't been issued, and ended up having to do a PayPal claim because TripAdvisor support is garbage.
Amazing location. Down a dirt road, no where near any neighbours. Awesome, mountainous backdrop. Roughly 45mins drive to Zion NP. Alec the owner was super helpful and accomodating. Can't reccomend this place enough. What you see in the pictures is what you get - nothing fancy, but the location is everything. EXACTLY what we were after. Can't reccomend it enough.
