“Very spiritual and amazing history c1100”
Review of Trinity Temple

May not suite every taste. But the place is a sacred Christian site and I did connect with being there, it is also a commonwealth war grave area so very much a place of our time as well as the Reformation times.

Loved this old monastery/learning centre. The area is well maintained and easy to access. Dogs can walk on lead. The commonwealth war graves are there. A lovely resting place for those that died for us in the 1st world war. Park at the church and walk up

It is what you would expect - a ruin, surrounded by lovely scenery. There were a couple of boards to read. The walk was short enough for our 2 and 4 year old children to enjoy. A nice little stop off on our adventure.

Well worth a stop to explore the old walls and interior of what was a very important temple.Very atmospheric and the information boards are now really informative. So much history here.

Be aware that the large, (relatively) modern church building with the parking area isn't the "Temple"! Thoughtfully restored to be safe, though still a "ruin", the site is a pleasant short walk, and is well equipped with information panels. Don't expect a Major Historical Site, but certainly worth a half-hour if you're passing by (and it isn't raining too hard)
