A group of us stayed in the two tented lodges for the weekend at the end of May. The campsite itself is lovely and quiet, set in the middle of the countryside with sheep and chickens on site. We didn't travel to any nearby towns, instead choosing to stay at the campsite itself, however there is a pub within walking distance, just be aware of the cows! The accommodation is set around the edge of a large field, meaning there's plenty of room in the middle for games.

The tented lodges are fantastic, very clean and comfortable with beds, kitchen, Aga, shower and toilet. There isn't a fridge, however the owners provide fresh freezer blocks for the cool box everyday. There are also plug sockets so you can re-charge the lanterns which are provided and also charge your mobile! When the temperature dropped in the evening, we lit the Aga which gave off plenty of warmth and also provided a lovely atmosphere. There are also picnic tables outside the front of each tent along with a BBQ which made for a great evening sat out under the stars.

The icing on the cake was the owners who couldn't do enough to make sure we had a great time. Overall this was a fantastic weekend, and I would highly recommend Dawn Chorus Holidays.

A lovely quiet location, the children loved playing cricket and football in the field, collecting eggs and seeing the chickens in the barn. Trips to Southwold and Walberswick, to the beach took about half an hour. We went with another family and had a tent each which worked really well.

Amazing place. Rustic but high quality fixtures and fittings and everything thought of. Fresh milk and cake on arrival. Picking fresh eggs just laid a treat! Wood burner outside good for heat and atmosphere. Highly recommended.

We were planning on camping but the rainy forecast prompted us to book this delightful 'glamping' experience instead. The Shepherd's hut is beautifully designed - the home comforts provided giving a feeling of luxury- the Egyptian cotton bedding, the white fluffy towels- worthy of a five star hotel. The home made cake provided is a lovely gesture.
Our 3 year old loved it- stepping out the door to see the sheep and chickens across the field- a really fun experience. We were sad to leave and would love to return.

This is a really lovely venue with very friendly people. Beautiful surroundings. The tents and caravans are wonderful. Comfortable. The tents are spacious, good facilities. We were warm and it was a fun weekend. There it's lots of lovely space too. With games. The sheep do wake you up early doors, but it didn't bother us.
