The Sokolsky Dum is a restaurant-hotel on Domazlice's main street. I parked on the main street right opposite the entrance, but this would have been a problem had I stayed for more than one night - the parking is metered. The hotel can supposedly help with parking, although I saw no evidence of that....

Staff are friendly but speak little to no English. If you need anything, be prepared to explain it in either Czech or German.

The room itself was large. A large double bed, large closet, and two strange single bed/divans. Also had a large table and two chairs. Heating was provided by a small radiator near the window, which surprisingly did a good job of warming up the room after a while.

Lighting is a bit strange - no bedside lamps but wall-mounted lamps above the bed which are uncomfortable for reading. The bathroom is newish and adequate, but with no lack of space a bathtub would have been much better than a shower stall. Wifi reception was OK, and speed very good (10Mbps...)

Unfortunately, the smell of the restaurant (meat/frying) permeated the entire place, as did a faint smell of cigarette smoke. If I was staying here again I'd bring air freshener.

Breakfast was included, a buffet fairly typical of what you'd expect (see pic).

All in all a reasonable place, though one that has potential to be much more. Cheap at ~ 22 Euros a night.
