American style Mall 30 minutes outside of Florence. Decent deals, great grocery, and general clothing stores. Good relief from the 30% markups in Florence

The title is self explanatory. I was spending few days in tuscany with my family and my little poodle (not a Rottweiler..he's a poodle!!!) and I was kicked out this mall because dogs weren't allowed. What a bad experience... What a rude manner!

If you are feeling homesick for the good ole USA go to I Gigli. Normal mall with lots of familiar brands including Apple, Sephora, Timberland and H&M.
Mediocre food court on 2nd level. Cheapest way to get there is take CAP bus from SM Novella by McDonalds. Buy a ticket before boarding. Bus run every half hour. About a 35 minute ride. Remember to board return bus on other side of highway.

If you have a need for technology, camera parts etc Apple or Media World should satisfy your needs at cheaper prices than in Florence.

Okay, not very cool reviewing a shopping centre, but for any self-catering supplies - food, wine etc if you're staying in a remote agriturismo this place in unbeatable. Maybe not as authentic as a market, but its where most locals shop and its huge and great value.
