We stayed in L'Ozio in Collina in June 2012 - we were a party of 2 families with children aged 1,2 and 3. It was amazing! Walter made us so welcome. The building itself and the surrounding countryside are breathtaking - just the perfect spot. It has a lovely pool too with spectacular views over the Tuscan landscape.
It's so relaxing and the garden in front of the house is perfect for people with young children.
Walter had Margha a friend from Holland helping out and she was brilliant too! Sandra's cooking was amazing and the children even got to make pasta with her.
We have stayed in many Agriturismo's over the years but I'll whisper this in case we can't get booked again - "This is probably the best we have stayed in!"

The journey to the accommodation was an adventure, but it's really worth it!
We have spent here 6 days in the Mughetti flat, which was equipped with 2 bedrooms, a bath and a nice kitchen with eating area. Very comfortably! One can park for free in front of the house.

The view is breathtaking! It was definitely the highlight of the stay. The accommodation lies in the middle of the Green, where you can enjoy breakfast in its tranquility and scenery.

We were always looking forward to dinner. Pietro is a passionate cook and this you've noticed in every dish! My boyfriend was so excited by one of the dishes, that he wanted to have a refill. But unfortunately there was nothing left of it. The last night Pietro served him one extra portion of his favourite dish. He cooked it once again, but just for him! Very, very carefully.

From here you have also a good starting point for day trips. We were in Pisa, Siena, Terme di Saturnia, Cinque Terre... Every day was an experience.
One day we stayed in the neighbourhood and have just enjoyed the weather. Simply the view from the pool is worth a trip!

We have felt here very well and if we come back in Tuscany, we will choose definitively again L'Ozio in Collina as an accommodation!

I was hesitant to write a review in that I'd like this place to remain a secret and hard to find... but then I also would like L'Ozio also to stay in business and thrive!
My family and I had a wonderful stay here for 7 nights, and will almost certainly return when the spa room is built !
Great cooking from Pietro was a treat to look forward to every evening. Superb hospitality all round and spacious rooms.

Our family had the pleasure of staying 6 nights here in September 2012. We had planned to stay only 3 nights but loved it so much we extended our stay. This is a wonderful place to stay while in Tuscany. We started our mornings with a delicious breakfast, then we would spend the day touring around the countryside. The location is perfect for visiting local wineries or just walking around charming Tuscan villages. We would return from our outing, enjoy relaxing outside in a beautiful, family friendly setting, and then have a fabulous meal every night prepared by the chef, Pietro. Alessandro was always there to eagerly look after our needs as well. Our two boys, 8 and 12, loved it so much, they didn't want to leave. Thank you so much to Walter and Christina for your kindness and generosity. We hope to return someday to L'Ozio in Collina! The Sparkmans of Sarasota, FL.

We stayed here for 3 nights in June. It was a wonderful place to stay especially with 3 children. The apartments are spacious and modern. We had dinner in the restaurant every night and after 4 courses we were extremely satisfied.

Ther is a great pool there as well looking out over the countryside.
Agroturismo's are definitely the way to do it in Italy as you can experience the true Italian culture and lifestyle.

Walter the owner was very accommodating and patient with the kids. Nonna in the kitchen was such a good cook and even took my wife for a lesson one afternoon.

I would highly recommend this place if you want a real Italian experience.

We had the pleasure of staying 4 wonderful nights at L 'Ozio in Collina in mid July and for us it was a highlight of our Italian holiday. The location, views of the valley and very comfortable apartment made it really easy to enjoy this place but above all of this was the amazing food we enjoyed each night in the quaint dining room. To Sandra the chef thank you very much for introducing us to your special Sicilian dishes and Matta the host for looking after all our needs. Cheers to Walter & Christina the owners - we really did love this place. Dougherty's of Jan Juc, Australia
