Where to begin? The owner is a lovely woman (who does have English) who welcomes you at the door. This is a charming restaurant where you can really feel at home. The menu is delicious, the service is perfect, our waitress was charming and fun (also has english) and the wines were wonderful. Two of our favorites were the pasta with wild boar bolognese sauce and the roast wild boar with fennel. We also loved the roast baby pig. I know, I know, but it was really delicious and should be tried. You must travel with an open mind. Then there was the dessert!! A wonderful ricotta with chocolate and caramel drizzled on top (or you could have berries). This was such a wonderful place we went back several times and loved it each time. By the time our journey was over we felt we were leaving dear friends.
