My wife found the hotel in the Internet. We were very lucky. We felt like home from the very first moment we arrived. Quercia Rossa means "Red Oak" in Italian, which is the first being which welcomes you at the entrance of a cosy garden on a beautiful hill with an amazing wide view over the Maremma landscape. All the stuff members are incredible helpful. Maria is the soul of the little guest house with only 19 beds . In the evening you sit together with the other guests at the salon on a large table and share the dinner together which Maria has prepared for you. Our son asked me: How many Michelin stars has this restaurant ;-) This is absolutely a hidden gem. Perfect for small familys and/or romantic couples ! Enjoy your stay at Quercia Rossa. We will come back for sure.

We did not know what to expect as we sometimes have had bad experiences and some good ones. It was a bit tricky to get there, as we had not been online and got the very detailed description on how to get there from the manager, we trusted in our GPS and the very friendly Italians we met on the way. When we got there we were greeted with warm welcome and shown to the room. The view was already breathtaking and lovely. The room we had been given was really nice and on the ground floor which is fantastic as we travel with a pram, 2 children under 3 and lots of bags..
We had only booked for one night but decided straight away to book another night.
We also decided to have dinner there and that was a lovely surprise again. All the guests sit at the same table and it was like being in a dinner party with friends :) even if you didn´t understand the language (mainly Italians there) but that didn´t matter at all to us. The atmosphere is very calm and friendly, the view amazing, quality of everything really good and the staff super helpful and friendly.

We will definitely go there again, perhaps on a romantic escape next time :) but it was also lovely with the children. There is a swimming pool there so older children could also enjoy themselves there.

It is an excellent place to explore Tuscany - Italy from.

Quercia Rossa delivers splendid views, charming rooms and great meals in a lesser known and very quiet part of Tuscany. We could only stay for one night but then again, the good news is: we know what we'll get when we come back.

We found Quercia Rossa through TripAdviser reviews that were very positive.
We totally agree with the others that have found Quercia Rossa to be
a home away from home. We found our room to be comfortable and the views exquisite.
The restaurant had wonderful home cooking and we ate there more than we had planned. The only possible downside was the distance of the hotel from the main road, but this is also one of the benefits of agriturismo. Alessandro and Maria were so willing to help us find our bearings -- interpreting maps and making restaurant reservations. We had a lovely time and look forward to returning.

We passed a romantic a relaxing week end in Quercia Rossa.
We stayed in a very nice room, with all comfort and had dinner: Maria is an excellent cook! She prepared several hand-made meals: pasta, bread and cakes.
The location is very cleaned and comfortable.
Moreover, from Quercia Rossa you can reach beatiful location such as therme of Saturnia,
beach in Argentario, Orvieto, Capalbio..
