We spent several months contacting these people on trip advisor ( who you actually deal with is anyone's guess, Marie, Angela or David) But still we ended up not being met at the designated time of arrival despite giving them flight times on more then 1 occasion. It turns out they emailed their phone number the morning of leaving, but we had already left.
My father was very angry at this as we were travelling with small children and it was now past their bedtime, David responded to this by insisting on taking the money back and refusing to let us have the property. After negotiations from myself purely for my children's sake he let us stay.
David proceeded to show me around the property, stating what areas were his and they were not to be touched. This would equate to over 80% of any storage. He took photos of all these areas for proof, which made me feel very uncomfortable.
His idea of helpful information was to take me outside the gate to the apartment and show me a red balloon in the distance and say "that's Disney land" He explained turn left for the train station and that's it. I asked several times for a taxi number but was never given one.
Once he left things became very apparent that we were sharing his weekend home.
Only 1 of the bedrooms upstairs had any storage and 90% of that was used for Davids clothes, 5% for towels and bedding for guest use and the other 5% for your weeks stay of clothing, which would equate to a couple of very thin drawers and 3 shelves.
There was NO storage in the other bedroom.
The bedroom downstairs had 1 chest of drawers for guest use, and a triple bunk, clearly the kids room but there was no way I was going to sleep on a different level to my children, especially when there is an outside door straight off that room.
The downstairs shower room was clearly David's with french magazines and both cupboards filled with his toiletries. It had a tiny corner sink similar to a under stairs toilet, (the only 1 in whole of property, except kitchen sink) The shower temperature knob had snapped off so no way to adjust temp (we mostly had baths, will explain further)
The kitchen had the potential to be lovely but again 80% was taken by David, we could use I shelf in the freezer, admittedly most of the fridge was free to use. There was NOT 1 cupboard free for food storage. Quite a few cupboards were for guests but they were filled with plates and pans etc.
The hob did NOT work but was replaced by a portable single electric ring (which is no good if cooking pasta and a sauce) There was a BBQ style plate and a griddle but David pointed out a previous guest had smash the glass edging and been charged for this but yet it had not been fixed so I was wary of using these.
The dishwasher door did not open fully due to the placement of the cooker so you were loading it at and angle, the cupboard under the sink had dropped dramatically, not causing a problem but added to how shoddy the place was on closer inspection.
The lounge was nice but the electric fire did not work, not a problem for summer but worth a mention. Quite a few stains on the sofa, WHITE painted winding stairs with NO banisters and very flimsy handrail.(really not suitable for kids)
2 double rooms upstairs, both only having 1 pillow per person and none spare, I put my children in Davis room as really was not comfortable sharing with his stuff.
The other room had NO storage and the lovely bath you see in pics. I'M sure this room was not built this way and you can tell. There are still exposed wires coming from the wall, the bath is very poorly fitted with a good 5 /6 inches between the bath and the wall, we lost several things down this gap but more worryingly there are again wires exposed down there and when the jets to the bath are on water splashes down the sides.
We did not uses the jets too often as they kicked out some black grimy substance, not pleasant to bath in.
The garden was i need of a water and a tidy, a sun lounger would have been handy as we only rented and paid extra for a property with a garden so my father could relax whilst we were in Disney.
David did buy a fan with no question for my children as it was exceptionally hot a couple of days but I did think that during the summer months these should have been there anyway.
I arranged for David to meet me at 12 on departure day to inspect the property (which I spent 3 hours cleaning) he arrived 30 mins late with no apology. He did not seem too bothered by the cleanliness but more so if the likes of microwave etc worked, this made me wonder should any of these have stopped working would we have been charged?
We were only given 1 key so when we went out we had to contact my father to see where he was on our return, this was very inconvenient. Not ideal if you have more then 1 family staying.
David did kindly allowed us to leave our suitcases there as we had a late flight and we arranged 4,45 pm meet time as our taxi was booked for 5 pm, His brother finally arrived at 5.10pm, luckily this did not cause us too much trouble as we were well within check in time but be aware if your working to a tight schedule.
To sum it up I was very disappointed to be sharing someones home and overall it caused quite a bit of stress to our holiday. I do feel for a holiday let that more info could be made available, such as bus and train time tables the cost of these.

We have just returned from a trip over the Christmas Week to this apartment.
The apartment is very well appointed and close to the Val D'Europe train station so it is very convenient for trips to Disney and to Paris (we did both).
The apartment is very clean warm and comfortable with loads of space for our family of 4. It is well equipped with a dishwasher and cooking facilities and all of the towels and bedding you could need for the stay. The kids were big fans of the large TV and really enjoyed the French cartoons.
David is without a doubt the best host you could have. We had a problem with our car on leaving (a dead battery) and our break down cover started us up but said we needed to replace it before returning home. When we told David this he went out of his way to be helpful. He also has a garage and we followed him there where he replaced our battery at a discount to us. This was beyond the call of duty and we are extremely grateful. We shall return to the duplex for our next visit to the area.

We had a wonderful stay in this house. We were two families totalling 10 in number but we were comfortable as well as enjoyed our stay. Location is perfect to move round the Paris. Town centre is 5-7 mins walk. Train station around the corner. Disneyland is one stop away with the train. David the owner is a very nice person. Collected us from train station on arrival as well as took us back on our way back.
