Villa Corsanello
Reviewed 28 June 2013

We are just back from our fabulous vacation in Italy. We stayed at the Villa Corsanello for a week. We stayed here 2 years ago as well. It is a beautiful, peaceful setting that allows you to feel as if you are part of Tuscan history. Seeing Siena in the distance, and the working farmlands around you, it could be 100's of years ago. A beautiful respite from the busy cities like Florence and Venice. Centrally located by Siena, it allows you the luxury of being able to visit many medieval villages and the Chianti territory, but come home to peace and quiet and beautiful vistas. Rinaldo and Claudia are the best. Leaving them feels like leaving family. You will be very happy if you choose to stay here! Oh, and pack a bathing suit, there's a great pool!

This year will be the thirteenth year that we have stayed at this Villa but the name has always been Corsanello, the owners Rinaldo and Claudia Nardi. Our first experience was for our 50th anniversary. It was such a fantastic experience that we have returned every year since. The owners treat all of their guests wonderfully. Problems are solved and the advice for restaurants and sight seeing are just right. The views are fantastic and are available from every window. The ability to take day trips to interesting places is unbelievable

If you are as fortunate as I was to spend time at Villa Corsanello, you will experience an inner peace that is rare. You feel as though you are part of the earth in a place where the quiet and calm take over you. The night breezes give way to a perfect stillness with views that take your breath away. We experienced a rainbow that painted the sky and sunsets that happened too quickly. The home was immaculately clean and the bedrooms were spacious with plenty of room for your clothing. The owners were most gracious and went above and beyond to make our vacation special. The Osteria in town served amazing food and a local vineyard sold wonderful wines and olive oil (G. Macchetti). I hope to be able to return someday. Patricia D-G

We have just returned from 2 weeks at the stunning Villa Corsanello. It could not have been more perfect - location, beautiful accommodation, wonderful hosts. I cannot wait to return. If the place is not beautiful enough in itself, the care and attention bestowed by the owners is second to none. The views of Siena are breathtakIng. I miss it too much!!!

This is a villa with 360 degree views. Beautiful rolling countryside viewed from a number of comfortable settings around the house helps make your stay very relaxing. The rooms are clean, well decorated, and spacious. The pool is great. The hosts are friendly and very helpful. In the village about a kilometer away you'll find a great grocery store with most of what you need. There is a restaurant down the street from there with good authentic Italian food.
A fifteen minute drive brings you into Siena where there is history, shopping, restaurants and bars.
I would highly recommend this villa for families, or young couples, or more experienced aged people. Just an amazing place to be.
Mike. July 2012.

When you think of Tuscany, you think of Corsanello: the house, the excellent big suites with highly comfortable beds, the wonderful kitchen (but if you do not feel like cooking, the osteria in the village is excellent), the relaxing pool and garden (what a joy at the end of a busy day of touring!), the big quiet fields, the hospitality of the Nardi family who will make everything work for a perfect holiday. I have come back several times in the last 12 years to this pearl in the outskirts of Siena. Centrally located to visit Chianti, Florence, San Gimignano, Cortona, Montalcino or Arezzo and not far from other cities like Assisi, Perugia or Orvieto; Corsanello is the place to stay. You will arrive there after a winding road amidst cypresses and wake up with the sounds of birds or pheasants to a beautiful landscape that will remain in your memory. I cannot rate this place highly enough.
