Ti Kaye Resort & Spa
Ranked #1 of 1 Hotels in Anse Cochon
Certificate of Excellence
Reviewed 28 July 2010

There's so much 2 say about our trip that I wish I could give out my phone #. I guess I'll start w/.......... If ur thinking about going 2 TiKaye -- DO IT -- ASAP!!!!!!
Here are some reasons why u should
1. The staff r (by far) the friendliest I've ever witnessed (even when we had a mishap w/ our credit card). Adnan(the assis. man.) was sooo patient w/ our situation despite being burned before. Because Tikaye is so small (33 rooms), the staff make it a point 2 know & use ur name.
2. The scenery was --AWESOME!!! Ur cabin is on a mtn side over looking the sea. Out b4 u, is a beautiful sea & on either side of u is greenery. Eventhough u may b in a duplkex, the privacy makes it worth it (we never saw the couple on the other side of us) If u r not fund of nature, this would not b the resort 4 u.
3. The spa -- 1 word -- AHHHHHHH!!!!! It sits on the mtn side & overlooks the sea as well. AMAZING!!!!!
4. Small black sand beach w/ a few locals who stick to a certain side of the beach. U have pretty much everything u need rite their -- chairs, lifejackets, scuba & snorkeling gear, & a full service beach bar(w/ a happy hr)
5. Skip the trip to Castries, but not the Managers Party, Fri. nite Fish Fry n Anse La Raye, & the wine tasting w/ Cleus (wine Guru). We had sooo much fun during these functions-- I have NO REGRETS!!!!
5. It is exactly as it looks in the pics -- no fraud -- the rooms r set up just as they are n on the site
6. Once u use the outdoor shower -- u will never look @ showers the same again!
I will say, if u are not moderately fit, this is not the resort 4 u & Tikaye IS a kid free zone!!!! Make sure that u have everything u need, cuz once u get 2 Tikaye, there r NO walmarts, targets, etc.....
ENJOY UR TRIP

There is not much more I can say that most reviewers have not already pointed out. But, before I write my review. John and Blake, I hope my map to find the seahorse on the finger coral worked. It was great meeting you and your beautiful brides - Jeff & Melissa

We spent a magical week at Ti Kaye to celebrate our 20th. We are a typical couple with 3 children and wanted complete serenity, relaxation, "ultimate" privacy, great food, great service so we chosse the ocean front w/plunge pool (Cottage H or Hadi) and Ti Kaye delivered.

Although it is not an adult only resort we notice only honey mooners, anniversary, and couples in general. Also, well known for it's snorkeling and diving. Ti Kaye is not a 5 star luxury resort in the sense of "plush" or expensive taste. The atmosphere is extremely relaxed and the resort amenities suit the atmosphere. Rooms are very tastefully decorated. In my opinion, It offers something much more valuable to couples than 5 star luxury. The privacy and intimate setting created by the ocean front cottage is "pure gold"

It was exactly what we wanted. Because the village is small the staff gets to know you very quickly and if you are outgoing you can even get to know some of the other couples visiting.

We would absolutely do it again. Thanks Katie, Cleus, Mac and entire staff.

We had great time on our stay June 29-July 6th. From the moment you come to the resort, you are treated with kindness and feel like you are a family. No matter what you need, they try to accommodate you. This resort is best for couples without kids; you enjoy the beautiful views (we had a gorgeous waterfront with pool room) and tranquility every day; if you are single and trying to meet others, this is place is not for you.

The rooms were clean, outdoor shower is to die for (even if it rains!), food is very good (although a bit overpriced), David (the bartender) is very creative and always has great suggestions. Couples wine tasting (you try 5 or so reds and 5 white wines, along with some history on wine) and massage with the view of the sea are a must!

This resort is away from most other large hotels and so most tours will charge you extra ($30-40 per person) to pick you up from here; some will say they don't but it's simply included in the price; We did Land and Sea tour, Zip line, North tour, ATV tour (not through hotel tours but through Serenity Tours) and Anse-la-Raye Friday Night Fish Fry - led by a great guide provided by the hotel! (this one is a must if you love fish... or just food in general).

In conclusion, this was one of the most relaxing, enjoyable and memorable places I've traveled to. Would definitely recommend to this particular hotel for the beautiful nature, low stress atmosphere and the kind people of this island.

We just stayed at Ti Kaye and it was one of the best vacations we've ever had. From the moment you arrive at this secluded paradise you're greeted by a marvelous staff who will make you never want to leave. Most people are directed to stay in the 'North End' of St. Lucia, where all of the "major" hotels are, but you would be missing out on the incredible romantic oasis that is Ti Kaye. If you want fast action and nightclubs, Ti Kaye isn't for you, but if you're looking for relaxation, great food steps away from your room, a romantic getaway and paradise views than you're in luck. The spa was also to die for. Usually photos on a hotels website don't accurately portray exactly what the space is, but Ti Kaye is actually even more gorgeous than we could have imagined. It takes FOREVER to get around anywhere in St. Lucia and at Ti Kaye you don't need to leave - they have everything there without the hassle and annoyance of hundreds of guests like you would have at Sandals. We would travel back in a heartbeat, our only regret is that we didn't spend our whole vacation here, as we stayed at a different resort for the first part of our trip.

My husband and I had a thoroughly enjoyable time at Ti Kaye. The staff is very friendly and bends over backwards to make your trip enjoyable. The chef did a great job of changing up the menu everyday. Great food. Clewis (sorry if I spelled your name wrong??), the wine expert, gave an informative and fun wine tasting. That was one of the highlights of the stay. Ti Kaye has the some of the best snorkeling right off shore on the whole island. The island of St. Lucia is very mountainous, lush and beautiful. Although the resort is somewhat isolated, you can catch a cab anywhere and the water taxis are a faster and fun way to get from place to place. The steps to the beach are no big deal. It helps to burn all the calories you consume! The only negative comment I have would be that their gym needs some updating. We'd go back in a heartbeat!

We absolutely LOVED being at TKV. The staff, from top to bottom, inside and out, was OVER THE TOP OUTSTANDING. Never in my travels have I experienced a place such as TKV. From the moment we arrived. and even before, we were treated like not only guests, but also we were treated like princesses. The service was impecable from breakfast - Rum Punches!!! The management staff was OUTSTANDING, including Katie and Anand. The office folks were great and please thank MARY POPO for keeping our "home away from Home" so clean, flowery amd full of love.....hats off to everyone and I GUARANTEE my partner and I will be back again and again and again. Make sure you take the time to meet locals and hang out with them. These people and Ti Kaye Village were the PERFECT place for us, We went hoseback riding, to martinique, to Castries, ansa La Raye, Botanical Gardens, volcano, water falls, rented a captain for half day, Soufriere, La Dera at the Pitons, explored the country side, rainforest, Rodney bay, canaries, kayaked, snorkeled, and everything we did was OUTSTANDING.......We LOVE TKV and all of those attached to it. Thanks for a fabulous vacation!!!!!! Oh my gosh....DON"T FORGET TO GET AT LEAST THREE MASSAGES-------------------------------------Some of the best ever..

From the moment we were picked up at the airport, we were treated with courtesy and friendliness. The trip from airport to Ti Kaye took awhile, due to the winding roads, but what do you expect on a mountainous island? Besides, it gave us an opportunity to see many parts of St. Lucia on the way.

At the hotel we found fabulous food (a bit pricey for some selections, but the grilled steaks and veggies were wonderful and very much worth the cost. ) The breakfast buffet is great, and you need not get up at the crack of dawn to make it there in time. Some guests were bothered by the local birds at breakfast and lunch, but we enjoyed feeding the little ones from our table. After all, it is an open-air restaurant. Just remember to cover your food/drink whenever you leave the table!

The cottage was everything we hoped for: serenity, peace, rustic but comfortable. You can enjoy the sea breezes by opening shutters or escape the humidity when you crank up the a/c. (Mind you, there is no t.v., as this place is all about the natural ambiance.)

Besides the gorgeous view from the porch, our very favorite thing has to be the outdoor shower. Any house in a tropical region should have one of these! Whether night, day, or during rain, every shower was a sensual, calming experience.

From the farthest cottage, the walk to the restaurant/bar is only an enjoyable 3 minutes. The beach from that point is down a series of steps, but there are enough landings to use, if you need to catch your breath on the way up.

We took in the beach during the early mornings, before the busier times from 10 - 4, when often tour boats came by to use the good snorkeling/diving sites. (It is, after all, a public beach, as all are in St. Lucia.)

I would recommend this hotel for those who want relaxation as opposed to a vibrant nightlife during their vacation. Ti Kaye is quite removed from most tourist sites, but it is easy to arrange travel to other sites and activities. To sum up the "Ti Kaye Experience"- Fresh air, gorgeous scenery, nature's sounds, privacy, and a low-key, friendly atmosphere. Perfect. We plan to return again, definitely!
