We booked with Inghams to go skiing in Levi for a week on the 25th of March 2007. We stayed at the Sirkantahti Hotel, which has a fairly good central position in Levi. (10 mins max to the main slopes on foot) The room contained everything we needed for a weeks stay. The bathroomcontained a cool little 2/3 person sauna, and also had a great shower and a nice big basin and mirror. A mini bar, desk and chair, and plenty of storage also helped make this simple room, very livable. The bed was very comfortable. In addition, there was a large ski dryer for ski clothes, boots, etc. One thing that was a pain, was that there wasn't any washing facilities to wash your clothes and we had to go to the K5 hotel along the road - 5 Euros. Every morning between 8-10am, breakfast was available in the dining room. Plenty of fresh salads, breads, fish, cheeses, waffles etc on offer. Dinner was slightly hit or miss. When you arrive on the Sunday its Italian night. Pizza, pasta, salads, chicken.etc etc. Monday night was Lappish night (not my thing) Tuesday was fish night (ok, but nothing great) Wednesday was BBQ/Grill night. Thursday was lappish again. Friday was fish again. Saturday was TexMex (that was good) and Sun was Italian again (we had left by this point ) So all in all the food was of good quality, just not all my cup of tea, but good enough for a weeks stay. The staff were really friendly and the place was kept clean and tidy. Finland wasn't as expensive as I thought and I would definately go back to this hotel. The Panimo pub next door is also great for a beer and not too expensive.
