I stayed at the Angel hotel this weekend for 2 nights with my husband and 19 month old.

Everyone we encountered from the bar staff, house keeping, reception team and restaurant staff welcomed us and most importantly (for us) welcomed our small son. We were looked after well in the restaurant and the little master thoroughly enjoyed the kids menu fish and chips. Its with thanks to the whole team that we had a very enjoyable stay and look forward to a return visit in the future.

This was our second stay at the Angel Hotel, really recommend it.

When you approach the hotel it is very difficult to find the car park, it is down a narrow opening under an arch at the side of the hotel which leads to a parking area near the gardens at the back. The hotel itself is a lovely traditional place with reasonably priced food. Every room seems to be different but well fitted. All in all a good little place to stay.

Room Tip: The Wick room is good but shower only no bath

I have booked this hotel for two nights for my husband's birthday in June. If the friendly treatment I got when booking is anything to go by we are going to have a lovely time! I cannot agree with the previous comment about booking and the rude receptionist as I had just the opposite treatment. I booked for the Sunday night "Eat, Drink and Sleep" promotion - the room costs £10 and the only stipulation is that you spend £50 eating at the hotel (that can include your evening meal and breakfast - easy!) and when I asked if we could have a promotion price for the Monday night as my husband's birthday wasn't until Tuesday she very kindly offered the room for £20 on the same promotion so if you don't ask you don't get and working in retail myself, it is often the case that if you talk to someone in the right tone you get the right treatment!

Room Tip: Ask about teh "Eat, drink and sleep" promotion

Called here when the river was too high to get under the bridges in a narrowboat, so good we called on our way back and moored up at the end of the garden. Good food, hardworking staff just learning their trade but oeverall a good place and we will return.

Today (3/5/14) We have been looking for a hotel for 13/9/14 for my birthday. Online 15 mins ago the price for a luxury room was £140 but now it has gone up to £150. I phoned the hotel and was told by the manageress that this was normal practice. I said i would go somewhere else unless she would do the room for £140 but all she said was goodbye. So we are going elsewhere. this might be the only hotel in Pershore but there are others with better customer service close by.

We enjoyed an amazing evening in the Angel Inn prior to our trip on a narrow-boat.
The staff were very friendly and professional and it located right in the centre of town.
The menu has a great selection to choose from and the quality of the food was top notch.
In all I highly recommend visiting the Angel Inn for food and drink if you in the area.

Lovely hotel. Dinner and breakfast couldn't fault. All staff were very welcoming and helpful. Only disappointment was our room. Needed a lick of paint, mould and damp in the room and bathroom, smelt damp too. It was a good size though. Did ask for upgrade but unfortunately fully booked. Would stay again but will make sure an upgrade is available
