“Loved it!”
Reviewed 2 July 2014

I've just come back from staying at Hotel Les Magnanarelles last weekend (21/06/14) with my friend for a wedding nearby, and we had a really great time at the hotel. The food was exquisite, service was very friendly, the room was adequate for what we needed and very well priced overall. Oh and the pool is awesome, which our room looked over and it was all very tranquil and quiet. I would highly recommend it to ANYONE!

Room Tip: Overlooking the pool

I stayed at this hotel september 2012 for a wedding. It was wonderful and clean I had a lovely room by the swimming pool and could not fault it. It is a family run hotel and i would highly recommend it and am returning with my parents this september.

Room Tip: room by swimming pool is excellent

We stayed here for just a night when attending a wedding, and it is a truly adorable town and a perfectly located hotel right in the centre. The rooms and bathrooms are fine for the price and we were given a lovely room with a large balcony.
It is a shame that as soon as I closed the bathroom door, there was a 5cm layer of dust and hairs behind it that rolled out over the whole floor. Cleanliness is such a basic requirement from hotels in this day, that it is almost unforgivable! Especially as this seems to have been an ongoing issue judging from other comments.
I took the liberty of wiping this particular room myself with a wet tissue before taking my shoes off but I wish the hotel would step up and do the same.

Having a 2 star rating I wasn't expecting great things of this small hotel. However, the room I was given was spacious, well-equipped and spotlessly clean. My room (16) had a pleasant aspect overlooking the small rear courtyard and swimming pool. Although I didn't stay long enough to enjoy the latter, it looked like it would be nice option to take advantage of on a hot day (as it was when I was here). Breakfast (not included in the room price) was the usual fare - tasty nonetheless, and presented in nice surroundings. The terrible sterling exchange rate meant that this wasn't especially good value, but if your normal currency is euros then this hotel certainly comes highly recommended. The hotel staff were welcoming and friendly - despite my crap French! Owing to its town centre location, the hotel doesn't have it's own parking, but I had no trouble parking on the road within 30 metres.
