“A place to come back!”
Reviewed 10 April 2012

I went for Easter break to Antalya and got this hotel recommended from my travel agency. It turned out to be a great choice, Under the all-inclusive concept I got access to terrific food, even with specially cooked turkish dishes that fitted my taste and allergies!

They were very nice and took care of little details: Minibar included, a heart shaped towel with flowers on the bed after tidying up, turkish coffee and tea and lots of water for the hot weather at your finger reach. Help to move around and visit the sightseeing, recommendations for tours either on my own or through agencies.

Liked the shows at nite, enjoyed the beach, the pool and the animation activities, as well as the spa, the heated pool and hamam/sauna rooms. The staff was very kind and in general, turks are very welcoming and make you feel good even travelling alone.

All I could have asked for to make a perfect beach destination when wanting relax, culture and sun!

Room Tip: Preferable to have sea view, to relax from your own balcony.

We went as a family with a 5 year-old child and loved it!

• Hotel and rooms: Very clean and tidy- along with the grounds and pool area; they were regularly monitored.
• Staff: Very polite and helpful and made a real fuss of of little girl, which was lovely to see.
• Food: Quite a lot of choice, although often repeated day to day. Very nice too.
• Entertainment: The evening entertainment wasn't for everyone to be honest, but the majority of people looked like they were enjoying it.
• Location: It seems like a quite secluded spot- it is on a main road, but you cant hear any traffic and especially if you have a sea facing room (which i'd highly recommend)
• Guest: The main demograph were Dutch & Russian who seemed very polite and friendly enough. Not many fellow English people- however, watching the rudeness of one particular English family, that's not such a bad thing after seeing how arrogant they were…

Overall, we all enjoyed ourselves and would definitely recommend it.

Room Tip: A sea viewing room is essential!

Hello, My family and I had been very much looking forward to our annual holiday for months as time to spend with the chidren is precious. We arrived in the early ours of the morning and were greeted by the hotel reception kindly. We had help with taking our luggage to our room of which was very nice as we were all very tired. Once we entered our room I was looking forward to seeing our lovely sea view as booked by Thomas Cook. Unfortunately we had a tree view at the back of the hotel. I went back down to reception to ask if this had been a mistake as we had booked a family room that guarenteed a sea view. I was told the complete opposite. I was told all family rooms are located at the back of the hotel so none have a sea view. We let this go as we just wanted to enjoy the break. The next morning we got up and my 7 and 11 year olds were looking forward to the games room which promised a variety of entertainment to keep them occupied. Unfortunately this was not open. When I asked about this I was told the games room is run by a 3rd party company and they only open when they feel like it.!! Considering we paid a supplement to have our holiday in the half term one would think this would be a choice time to be open. Obviously not. The games room did not open once for the entire week we were there. We then went for breakfast. Oh my god this was unreal, flys everywhere and a very poor choice of food unless you are a big bread, cheese and veg lover. Overall the food throughout was poor. To top things off I tried the fish (BENNI FISH) I was ill with sickness and diarrhoea for 48 hrs. Overall we thought the hotel was clean and tidy but the majority of staff were very poor with bad attitude and not willing to help with any problems we had. We spoke with lots of people that also experienced similar problems. The day time entertainment consisted of a game of darts at 11am and 3pm that was it. The evening entertainment was non exsitant. Fortunately we met up with another family that was great fun and if we had not met we may well have got an early flight home. I am sorry to say this has been the worst holiday experience we have ever had and would never choose to go back to this hotel.

Room Tip: South view.

hi just returned from this hotel what can i say! first of all turkey is a lovely place to visit. the turkish people are very freindly and the country is beautifull, and definatly go back again. but would not go back to this hotel, the staff are lovely and freindly, but what lets this hotel down is the food, very bland and if you like chicken and eggs then fine, however just plain roast chicken ( no seasoning). or in a stew form in water, not even a gravy, is not my taste, breakfast is fried eggs or ommlette, and lots of continental cheese , (crusty bread nice) chips even for breakfast are abundant,, the juices are consentrated and if you want fresh , you pay for it, the alcohol drinks are limited to turkish brands and are drowned in cola or lemonade, the best drink is the coffee (nescafe on tap).
the rooms are basic we had a mountain veiw which was great, as the sea view rooms overlook the bar and pool which is very busy and noisy till 3 in the morning. What i found astonishing about this hotel was the other guests, 50% Russians, 30% German, 20% Dutch, the rest from other European countries, 1% British, however No one talks to each other or interacts with each other and are very rude at times, we met a few couples from england and belgium who felt the same. The system of A/C and the mini bar is a joke it only works if you are in the room, i.e. the key card operates the A/C & fridge ( which only stock's coke and water) depending on the amount of people in the room is what you get, therefore when you leave the room everything goes off, the A/C is rubbish, only workes properly at 3 in the morning for about an hour. the beach is pebbles and shingle (take good beach shoes or your feet get cut to ribbons) they pack the sunbeds like sardines ( no privacy even on the beach). overall its a shame this hotel could be better, we have stayed in lots of 3 star hotels aroung the world which outclass this one; the hotel is very regimental even to the point of when you eat and can have a ice cream, can only say if you choose this hotel the best thing about it is the staff on the ground ( barstaff, room maids, waiters/waitress, cleaners, who work extreamly hard to make your stay enjoyable.

Room Tip: mountain veiw are queter the sea veiw

I had stay in yelken hotel for 1 week with my wife .
hotel was nice and the best thing about this hotel is location and its view of see and forest .
food was good specially breakfast was great.
animation programs was good but could be better.
beach was very clean and there were a lot of sunbeds for you
pool was not so big but it was nice and adequate for the number of guests.
room was clean and a little small but shame about room service because they did not refresh the soup and shampoo and it is better for you to bring yours or buy .

Room Tip: ask for sea view and higher level ( sea view rooms cost 10$ more per night ) but forest view rooms h...
