Just wanted to share with you what a wonderful honeymoon we have just had at this hotel. We stayed 22 Sept to 07 Oct. The hotel was gorgeous and our junior suite was very spacious with the largest bed I have ever seen. We were met with sparkling wine and fruit in our room on arrival and were treated to a breakfast in our room as we were on honeymoon. All the staff at the hotel are really friendly and made us feel very special. I especially want to mention Seyho who was a waiter in the nobless restaurant who sprinkled our table with flower petals every night as soon as he found out it was our honeymoon. The service he provided was exemplory and he is a credit to the hotel. Also Marjorie in guest relations was very helpful. Out of all the restaurants the food in the seasons restaurant was a great favourite of ours. The Ocktoberfest festival took place while we were there and I cant believe the amount of work the staff put into making it an amazing night. They then worked through the night to clear it away by the morning so people could sunbathe as normal, incredible. I was very impressed that the hotel manager was very visible thoughout our stay and kept a close eye on everything that took place. We will definitely be returning hopefully for one of our anniversaries. Gorgeous hotel, grounds, rooms and food. Weather boiling and views beautiful. A big thank you to everyone for making our honeymoon so special. Estelle and Don.

My husband and I have just returned from Turkey staying at this wonderful hotel in Beldibi Turkey. We had ten days there which was just perfect. We find one week not long enough and two weeks often too long so loved that aspect of the holiday.
Our allocated accommodation was a villa in the garden which consisted of a lounge with tv and settee and wardrobe containing a safe which was free to use. Then a large bedroom with two very large twin beds. The aircon was individually controlled in each villa and was most efficient providing you remember to shut the windows and doors properly otherwise it will not work. The main restaurant which was buffet was superb and a great deal of choice each day. You could eat inside the dining room or outside which was most enjoyable and the waiters were so very pleasant and helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them. Of course being all inclusive the wine was flowing and you could even obtain proper whisky (Johnny Walker) Baileys and lots of other proper brands of drink which I have never seen before in any other all inclusive hotel. Usually it is the local drinks that are free and you have to pay extra for whisky etc.
There were about five a la carte restaurants in addition to the buffet which were bookable the day before. Two of them charge a small fee but the others were free and we tried the "Seasons" which was excellent. The night before we left (October 4th) there was what is called an OctoberFest which was held in the extensive grounds and all kinds of food was set out all around the lawns and tables decorated in blue and white and a band playing. Also they had hired several bouncy castles for the children and a bucking bronco for the adults which was great fun. All this at no extra charge. I have never seen anything like this in my life and the trouble they went to was amazing. Swimming pools were excellent. We chose to use the "quiet" pool the first few days which was adult only and then discovered the little gem of a pool in the middle of the garden villas which was smaller and select and also had a bar serving drinks and coffees etc and only a stones throw from our villa. We did not know we were going to be allocated a villa in advance and were not charged extra for it. Also talking to the other guests who were staying in the hotel building - they all said what lovely big and airy rooms they had too, although the balconies were rather small but all with comfortable beds and lovely and clean. I also heard from some of the young parents that the childrens club was excellent although we did not use this personally. Entertainment each evening in the amphitheatre was of a high standard except for the "Mr. Renaissance" night which was rather stupid but apart from that it was all professional shows which we fully enjoyed. Next time we go we will check the times of our flights more carefully as we had a 6 am flight and had to vacate the room at 12 noon the previous day which was not good. Also the hotel were overbooked and could not offer late check out rooms but that is only a small thing and happens in lots of hotels I believe. It would be worth considering flying from another airport to get a better flight as my elderly husband (80) did not cope very well with the last day. All in all a fantastic holiday and a hotel we would definitely consider returning to at some future date. We still love Turkey and this is our fifth visit so that says it all. Best hotel we have stayed in to date. Enjoy yourselves if you decide to book the Renaissance. We could not find a single fault with it. Oh, just one last comment. Unlike some other hotels on that coast there was a good mixture of nationalities, i.e. French, German Russian Scandinavian and of course British and we did not feel in the minority being English. Just about the right mix.

Room Tip: Our room was number 673 - a garden villa on the ground floor. It was close to the main building an...

Cannot believe how this would get a bad review! Just back from a weeks holiday here with my friend 25th Sept - 2nd Oct 2011. Lovely welcome - even though it was 2am in the morning! We were able to get something to eat on arrival and a welcome drink (and more) as this surely is a 24 hour plus all inclusive hotel. Our room was very comfortable and spacious, although slightly outdated in decor (cleanliness and service more important to me). The balcony was very tiny but this was not a problem as we did not plan to use it! We had the sleeping area, a main bathroom with bath and two showers, second toilet and washing facilities, large living area complete with dining table and fresh fruit bowl. Mini bar re-stocked daily with water, soft drinks and I do believe there was beer too. The food is wonderful and although can be repetitive sometimes - there is always a fantastic selection at every mealtime. If you say you can get nothing to please you - there is really something wrong with you....... Staff very friendly and professional at all times. We never had issues with cats as others have commented on but then we just ignored any when we saw them and they ignored us! Gardens and green areas are lovely, complete with a 1200m walk. Beach is manmade so is very pebbly/stoney - just ensure you wear beach shoes or flip flops to get down to (and in) the water. Entertainment could have been a little better - when I see live band in a brochure, I expect a live band - drums, guitars, singer etc etc. In Renaissance they have a keyboard player with backing tunes and a singer. This was the only downside which could have been better. Shows in the ampitheatre - some were ok and others were just ok! Stephanie the rep suggested we try the Turkish Bath in Kemur - although it was very busy and so few staff who spoke english - it was well worth the 25 euro for approx 2 hour treatments! But do note - they will bring a translator in when you are getting your massage to say you have a few medical problems and will need to spend extra massage time! Luckily Steph had warned us of this and not to take any heed. Back to the resort, we realised on the day before we came home and we had no need to travel to Kemur or anywhere else for the typical fakes of Turkey - Ugg boots across the road from hotel (to the right) priced at 70TL - compared to 120TL in Kemur..... EXACTLY the same boots (fakes but the same!) - also the clothing was same quality too and half or less in price. Moral of the story you don't need to leave the resort. Check-out time - £0.00 for our stay. What a fab week - can't wait to return..... just hope they have a live band next time.:-)

This was or 2nd visit and we are planing a 3rd. Beautiful hotel and grounds, Super staff.
The food is good and varied. My wife noticed a reduction in the cheese section (no blue this year). The sea is clean and clear. Our room 258 could use new carpet or tiles. Terrific pool areas. We highly recommend this hotel for all that are looking for a relaxing holiday. See you in Sept next year.

Firstly i cant believe someone would give this hotel a bad review!

Stayed 20th Sept - 1st Oct 2011 with my fiancee and 20 month old son. This is our 3rd time and we will be returning next year to get married (which is already booked). We love this hotel, everything is fantastic and very child friendly.
The staff are so friendly, they cant do enough for you. We had the same waiter almost every night and he even had our drinks and a highchair waiting for us at the table we liked to sit at.
The hotel is spotless, the rooms are always clean, the maids do a fabulous job. We did ask to change our room this time because we were above the bar and it was a bit noisy at night for our son. And with no problem at all, not only did they move us the next day, they upgraded us to a suite.
Steph the rep is a fountain of knowledge, there was nothing she couldn't help us with. Very approachable. Very good at her job.
This year there was a small charge for some of the restaurants but in our opinion the main buffet out does them all with exception of the Seasons restaurant which is free and the food is fantastic.
One very small criticism which only affected us the last 2 years was that there is no baby changing facilities near to the pool or in the hotel itself so in smelly situations we had to find a dark corner so as not to disturb other guests. The only alternative was to go back to the room. The live music played on the piano terrace was fantastic. We didn't get to any shows this year so cant comment. I would like to see the daytime activities advertised in English. I only saw a board in French advertising them and due to me not speaking French i did not know what activities where on and when. Last year the animation team came round to tell you what activity was running in the garden so you could join in.
The gardens in the hotel are stunning. The gardeners do a fantastic job.
We had a fabulous holiday as we have had the last 2 years. We are counting down the days to our return in Sept 2012.

Room Tip: Dont pay for a side sea view room. The balcony's are small and the view is not that good. I woul...

Stayed Sep 10-24th my husband and meself. on arrival were given the upgrade of the Garden Villa which we feel was not that nice, ground floor,no natural light, needed to close curtains for privacy and put light on in the day . 2 days in asked if we could have what we booked which was the twin room main building -fab,such a improvment. Hotel very busy but still plenty of room. Gardens are very well kept with foot paths that are lit at night.Beach- shingle and stone so shoes required.Food at the hotel -choice is fantastic, book A LA CARTE as much as you want, some have a charge but are worth it. The main Restaurant is very busy at night so does'nt feel the 5 star it should be. one last thing it could be cleaner at the Safron Restaurant, the floor was very dirty and cleaned by brushing only. The toilets by the Pool also could do with some disinfectant in the cleaning. Overall a very nice Hotel.
