I spent a week at this hotel with my wife and son (who was almost 3) for Kurban Bayram in November 2010. Whilst it was not cheap, being Bayram week, it was still good value overall. The whole place was spacious, well managed, and professionally run.

Having travelled extensively around the world, I was still quite impressed with this hotel. For the 4 days of Bayram, it was fully booked. Sure it was busy then, but the 'system worked', the staff coped, and the facilities were not unduly stretched. For me, that is a mark of a good establishment, if it can cope under the pressure of being completely full (many hotels I find are great, until the occupancy rate exceeds say 85%, then they struggle - not here).

We stayed in one of the spacious 39m2 Garden Rooms, which was well laid out, was of a high standard, and in a lovely setting. The bed, linen and furniture were excellent. The bathroom was tiny though, which let it down somewhat, but we were happy to sacrifice that aspect for the sheer size and quality of the room as a whole (or small suite really!).

The facilities were plentiful, each were well run, and enough to cater for the hotel, even when full.

The kids club was excellent. Ece Erdal was very competent, professional, hard working with the kids, but always relaxed in her approach which made our son, and us, very happy to use this facility on a daily basis.

The various restaurants were far above my expectation to be honest. The food was plentiful, well presented, of a high standard in all of the restaurants, plus the service was pretty good too. It’s a big 5* All Inclusive hotel, so I was expecting the ‘cattle’ type approach at feeding times; not so, you were still made to feel like a guest, and the help given to accommodate us was above the norm.

A few of the staff deserve a particular mention. Ece (kids club) as I mentioned above. Then there was Nazmiye, one of the waitresses in the main bar area. She worked tirelessly and we never saw her slow down in 8 days!! She was professional, competent, but above all, spent time to get to know as many guests as possible, and that’s no mean feat in such a big hotel. Next was Süreyya, who worked down by the beach and beach bar. She was responsible for cleaning, and took that role extremely seriously. Not only was the whole area kept spotless, she always greeted us with a smile, offered help where she could and generally did what I would say was ‘more than her job’. On a number of occasions we saw her taking side tables to guests, moving sun loungers etc to make the guests more comfortable and relaxed by the beach, and always without them even asking!

A highlight for us was the spa. This was, undoubtedly, a full 5* operation. It was spotless, well run, classy, professional, pricey, but worth it. As with anywhere like this, the massage costs are not cheap, but the professionalism, extensive range of treatments in a relaxed environment was outstanding. My wife went for a medical massage with Mustafa, to ease her back pain, whilst I opted for what turned out to be a very good Thai massage indeed, with the tiny, but amazingly strong Jamjit. Needless to say, we did a few extra sessions when our son was safely in the kids club.

Would we go back, yes definitely. In fact, we might go again later this month for a couple of nights, then maybe in November again for Kurban Bayram. We live some 4-5 hours drive away, in a similar setting I guess, but it was a superb place for us to just ‘get away from it all’ for a short break, be pampered, and eat well. With a young kid, our normal idea of staying at a ‘small boutique hotel’ is simply not viable at the moment, hence we tried this hotel... but we were pleasantly surprised at the whole experience, top marks!!

A perfect hotel at a great value. As this hotel is open all year the actually give very good rates and promos during the low season.
The value you get fotr your money is incredible. Very nice rooms (they even gave us another room beccause we had some noise from the bar on ground floor) and well mainained.
A beautiful garden and a small beach (partially closed for some works- that of course has to happen during winter season) Food was very good and only a bit more diversity would make it top. Also 2 à la carte restaurants (without fee) were very welcomed.

We have visited Turkey many, many times, and this hotel will take some beating. The only downside, as we saw it, was the location. As we were there at the end of October the shops in the immediate area were either closed, or preparing to close for the winter. Having said that, it was only a short hop on the dolmus to Goynuk or Kemer, where there were lots of shops. we were quite happy to stay in the hotel anyway.

Our room was comfortable, with lots of wardrobe & drawer space, king size bed, and bath as well as shower. The mini bar was re-stocked every day, and the room was kept very clean. The only down side was the lack of sea view, and some traffic noise from the main road,(we don't like to use air con at night, so left the door open).

The choice of food in the main restaurant was very extensive, even for the pickiest eater. There was lots of 'show cooking', and a good choice of othe hot dishes. The 'cold table' was wonderful with a great & varied assortment of salad ingredients, cold meat & fish. If you have any room after all that, the dessert table is groaning with mouth-watering sweets for you to sample. If you tire of the buffet, there are 6 'a la carte' restaurants to sample, our favourite being the Mexican, and least favourite was the Italian. If you have problems booking, speak to Guest Relations (Selda), who goes out of her way to help. During the afternoon you can use the Patisserie, and choose from a wonderful selection of cakes, biscuits & pastries.

There is a very good choice of drinks at this hotel, and some branded drinks too. Lots of cocktails to sample, Efes beer on draught, and Efes Dark by the bottle, to name but 2.

The facilities are excellent, 3 outdoor swimming pools, 1 indoor pool, freeTurkish Bath, well equipped Fitness Centre, free WII & computer games for the kids, free internet, (no need to take your own lap-top), and games room. The beaches in this part of Turkey are naturally all pebbles, but this hotel has imported tons of soft sand, and has it's own man made beach (much more comfortable to the feet)!

The reception area is spacious, and luxurious, with comfortable seating, and pleasant decor.

The icing on the cake for this hotel is the staff. From the Manager to the gardeners, every one is pleasant, and pleased to pass the time of day. All seem to enjoy their work, and are very customer focussed.

Don't just take our word for it, - try it yourself!!!

Had a fabulous 2 week all inclusive stay here. Booked a junior suite it was fantastic large room, had a huge fully furnished balcony facing mountains at front of hotel which was lovely and quiet. Food was excellent never stuck for choice visited 5 of a la carte restaurants they were good but food in main restaurant was every bit as good. Lots of choice of food watch the labelling though check if not sure. Pancakes, crepes and omlettes made fresh each morning. Hotel was very clean. staff very helpful. Entertainment from animation team was good lots of professional outside entertainers brought in, music in piano bar a bit repetitive but still good. Loads of garden space to wander round. Plenty sun loungers, spread around pools garden and beach. Had a lovely snooze in one of the hammocks in the garden. Pools and beach cleaned every night. Good mixture of nationallities when we were there. Only disappointment was Irish Bar only thing Irish about it is name and shamrocks etc for decor. no Irish Beer or Irish music but was a nice change from main bar. The Thomas Cook rep Steph is very helpful and honest. Some shops in hotel but they were a bit pricey small number of shops within walking distance of hotel which had eveything you need. Frequent bus service to Antalya and Kemer. If you are looking for a lovely relaxing holiday with good food this is hotel for you.

We could not fault this Hotel except for the booking system for the Al La Carte. It is disappointing to have to book 24 hours in advance because on a weeks stay this means you miss the first two nights if you arrive late in the day. Apart from this it was great value for money. The Staff are amazing but two in particular deserve a mention - Sureyha (the beach lady) never stopped smiling and was always on the look out to be helpful - and Perhila (or something similar - she looked after us in Room 205 from 26th October to 2nd November and the room was always left beautifully clean and tidy.

Just returned from a week at the Hotel.
Travelling with 2 teenages for a half term break.
The hotel is very well run though not prehaps a 5 star service.

Rooms.
We were allocated a Garden villa 1 with twin room and one with double.
The rooms were large and very comfortable big double beds. The decor dated, but still of a good standard. Minor niggles the min bars was not restocked every day and the shower gell etc again not changed every other day, but very clean..
They aircon worked well.
The facilities at the hotel are first class, indoor pool, internet room, games room pool billards, indoor fitness and indoor pool with sauna. The deco may need updating but very usable.
Outside table tennis, tennis canoes etc. two pools, child play area slides.

The food we found very good, with a couple of exceptions. Breakfast very good, excellent choice from buffett.- omlettes cooked while you waited, pancakes for the kids.
Lunch again a good choice in either the main restuarant, or same menu less choice outside in the grill resturant. The beach bar offered light snacks overlooking the sea- burger-wraps etc.
Service in the buffet was fine though on occasions slightly slow.

The evening choice was either the main resturant- again buffett style or booking one of the ALC options.
we tried

Chinese- wast of time small portion size limited menu. The kids went back
to the main buffet to fill up.
French- very good, try the duck and choc pudding!!!
The med grill the food looked ok, but we were there late October and being outside, it was cold so we left after the main course- Turkish still.
Because of the time of year and our experience we didnt try the other two outdoor rests
mexican and Italian..

Entertainment.

Evening entertain was limited, in the bar area you could have a group playing background music to listen to, after about 9.30.

Each night a special act would perform at the outdoor theatre, these we very good 45mins duration, dancing, juggling etc. again just need your jumper- cold in the evening.

The beach area is made up of pebbles, but two piers so you can jump of and swim,
The piers were the best place to get the Sun.

The gardens were large and had various areas for sun bathing, and the beach area had plenty of sun beds. These areas were kept very clean and tidy.

The biggest area of disapointment was the location, the Village outside the Hotel is very basic, more of a shanty town than a village with cheap tatt everywhere.
The hotel is opposite the Police Station!. So no crime!!!!!

overall, good value hotel, small niggles but little to complain of to put you off.r
If travelling with teenages, they may want more night life than offer in the hotel or location.
