You could easily miss this place, part of a wine shop/deli on the way up from the Porta Romana. A bit lacking in atmosphere, just a few small bare tables, very quiet on a Saturday evening. Food fine, particularly a wicked grilled scamorza with prosciutto, pasta good, but some odd fixed menus - the scamorza came with a sickly-sweet dessert. A fresh salad would have been so much better. The antipasto was lovely, peppery cingulate sausage and Fossa cheese from Tuscany. But do go, please, more people would give it more life! Oh, and a really good selection of well-chosen wines, including half bottles from local cantina Le Crete.
