It was a great pleasure to stay with Francesca and Davide!

Tara is in the middle of nature and away from the city and it's still possible to get there with public transportation. Davide was so kind to pick us up at the Amelia bus station. We got there just after dark, but still we could feel the charm and the beauty of the place. The room was quite big, very clean and tastefully decorated.

In the morning there was a delicious breakfast with home-made cakes, jam, olive oil and other wonderful food.

We were very sad to leave Tara.

Room Tip: We had the "Lavender" but I'm sure the other ones are beautiful as well :)

Francesca and Davide are perfect hosts who can give great advice on places to visit and places to eat. I stayed in the green room and friends stayed in the cottage, we all had a wonderful stay and will return. There is great attention to detail.
We will be back soon!

Last year we had a perfect, relaxed holiday at David and Francesca. So this year we wanted to go back again.
We slept in the cottage and it was more than perfect again. The cottage has two nice bedrooms and a small kitchen. Francesca and David have a good eye for details. It was super clean and it looked like everything was new.
Our kids loved the swimmingpool and playing with the 3 lovely kids (L, L and L).
We will definately come back next year.

Room Tip: The rooms in the house are beautifull, but if you travel with kids we prefer the cottage.

The hosts of this lovely agriturismo were incredibly welcoming, friendly and helpful throughout our really enjoyable stay here. The house is beautifully furnished and decorated with impeccable attention to detail - even having articles written about it in Italian 'Country Life' style magazines. The 'Lavender Room' that we stayed in was large with lovely views over the farmland and the pool, and the air conditioning was welcome, as was the comfortable bed. There was a large variety of teas available in the room (though no coffee).

The typical Italian 'dolce' breakfast was all homemade and delicious, and the recommendations that the hosts gave us for dinner were spot-on.

We didn't try out the pool, although it looked really well managed and clean, partly because you have to pay extra to hire towels and buy swimming caps - as we were only there for a short time we spent our time exploring the enchanting nearby Amelia.

We had the pleasure of staying at Francesca and David's cottage for a week in July. Cottage was very clean and well stocked with kettle, toaster, washing machine, nice terrace outside, BBQ etc. The pool and whole deck area was beautiful and all was very well maintained. However, most of all it was Francesca, David and their three gorgeous children that made Tara feel so lovely for us. They are a lovely couple, friendly and welcoming and we loved Francesca's homemade cakes!. On our last night, David brought us to a superb restaurant in the forest, similar to a hunting lodge where we had a great meal and a very special evening. Thank you to Francesca, David and their beautiful children.

Room Tip: We stayed in the cottage which was great.

Me an my husband had a fantastic vacation at Agriturismo Tara in July 2013. Wonderful room, quiet and much privacy and very beautiful with comfortable beds and bathroom. The brekfast was home made and very good. Wonderful farm with a nice swimmingpool. The owners were very nice people, social and serviceminded if we as guests wanted to and showing a fantastic hospitality. I would really recommend this agriturismo to everybody.

Just spent 5 nights in the cottage with my family, and it was sheer bliss. From the beautiful landscapes to the thoughtfully equipped cottage, to the fabulous hosts that Francesca and David are -- every expectation was exceeded. The bedrooms are very comfortable, and the pool is a joy. Frankly, we could have spent the whole time on the property. But then you have all these amazing hilltop towns to explore -- from nearby Amelia, Orietto,Todi and many more! my kids (ages 10 and 5) fell in love with the place, and spent most of their time chasing the family dogs and playing with all the toys lying around in the lawns. All i can say is that this is truly a special place and we couldn't easily have spent a full month there!!

Room Tip: Ask David and Francesca for their advice on local spots, restaurants and even the best place for gre...
