“Wonderful French countryside location”
Reviewed 18 February 2013 for a stay in June 2012

A beautiful location for our week long stay. The house was as described and as seen in the pictures - very clean. The location was great for our trips to St. Malo, Mount St. Michel and Quiberon. The weather unfortunately was not too cooperative with rain and cool temperatures most of the week. We enjoyed using the bikes and the "third wheel" was great! The kitchen was well equipped and the living and dining room the perfect size for 4 adults and 2 kids

“After Paris, see another side of France in this charming village cottage”

We (2 American couples in their 60s) celebrated our 40th wedding anniversaries staying a week in Paris followed by a slower week in this charming Josselin area cottage. The cottage is roomy and divided into 2 sleeping areas, affording privacy, with cozy, rustic communal spaces. The kitchen is very well equipped making cooking at home easy and fun. Delightful garden, front and back, with picnic table for quiet days at 'home'.The Josselin Saturday market is fabulous, complete with roasted chicken carts, local veggies, cheeses, etc.. The owners provide numerous walking, hiking, biking, and car travel day trip ideas, maps, etc. There is a friendly, local manager accessible by phone if there are any problems. Everything was super clean, cozy and delightful. We highly recommend this rental.

“Charm and comfort”
Reviewed 10 February 2013 for a stay in April 2012

The cottage is charming and located on a quiet road near the delightful town of Josselin. We had a most comfortable stay. We travelled with our grown daughter, but the cottage would also be very suitable for a family with young children. An excellent choice for a visit to Brittany. The hosts were most helpful.

“Perfect in Every Way”

It is impossible to say enough good about La Ville au Tady. Everything from its location in the countryside near the beautiful town of Josselin to its furnishings to the lovely yard and to its most thoughtful and accommodating owners is wonderful. This beautifully updated longhouse retains its old world charm, yet is comfortable and very well-equipped. Having lunch or dinner in the backyard was a treat.

We loved our stay there and would go back in an instant. Thanks to the house, yard, and the owners' absolutely superb website (the suggestions of which we followed religiously), we couldn't have had a more enjoyable week. We'll remember it forever.

“You Will Never Want To Leave! Perfect!”
Reviewed 10 February 2013 for a stay in June 2012

Thank you so much for all your generosity. Your home was perfect. We had such a fine stay here. We all hate to leave and wish we had booked more time. The kids had so much fun playing in the huge yard. My husband wants another week just to hang out in the garden and read and sit in the kitchen in the early morning sipping his tea. Also thank you for the use of your laptop - it has made blogging and emailing so much easier than our iPhone. Thanks for the best stay!

“Excellent place to stay”
Reviewed 10 February 2013 for a stay in September 2012

Our September week was an all-too-short return after 3 splendid weeks in July. It was once again excellent. We love the space, quiet, comfort, garden, lizards, bees, birds and butterflies. The cottage is comprehensively and thoughtfully equipped and the location good for both inland Brittany and the Morbihan coast. Try eating at the Marine creperie in Josselin, or the many good choices of restaurant in pretty Vannes.
