My last vacation in Kerala becomes so amazing. Kumarakom Houseboat Holidays made me happy relaxed and cool. Thank you for your great service
We were at Kumarakom and tried to look up the information online for a Houseboat cruise. Mukul was very helpful and provided us a very good rate. He also ensured that we are picked from and dropped at the hotel we were staying at to ensure our convenience. Anything i say abt the houseboat would be less. The houseboat was a 2 bedroom houseboat with one bedroom reserved for us as a couple. The food was amazing. Friendly staff and very informative. The entire cruise experience was fantastic. We were taken around vembanad lake and we were awed with mesmerizing view. Cant wait to get there again and experience the overnight cruise.
This plan of hiring a houseboat was an impromtu call and am glas it worked out so well. The staff at the houseboat and Mukul who arranged this for us were exceptionally well groomed and offered a polite and top notch service. The food served on the boat was fresh and tasty. They cook authentic kerala veg and non veg or on demand regular punjabi food. My vote definitely for authentic kerala food. The staff on the boat will constantly guide you and tell you about the places you're exploring. Value for money, worth experiencing.. Kudos to the team.
Really enjoyed this boat tour - takes you around the lake at Kumarakom. It's extremely beautiful and we saw some very interesting wildlife including eagles feeding, kingfishers and birds of paradise. Clean boat with very good food provided. Overall a great experience would recommend.
Excellent service. Friendly staff. Family and women safe. Easy booking and services. Thank you prakash and crew. Will visit again !
The boat which we explored the backwaters of kerla was one of its kind...beautiful view outside and lovely interiors inside. The boat was very well maintained and neat..The staff was also very generous.Food was amazing and the experience was all the more amazing having lunch next to lush green farms on one side and river water on the other side...I am glad I ce across Mr.pravin through one of my friend...
We struggled to know how best to find the right company and what to expect from a range of reviews and how much would be good value off season. If you have time go and look around, do so. We didn't and the websites were hard to judge. We had a spacious boat with one bedroom (dbl bed) and attached bathroom, and a big living / dining area, at the front where we sat and read and chatted, clean, two staff; a chef and a boat driver (Anil and Santosh). We had two nights abd two days and expected to go down smaller canals and not spend so long on the big lake. The secret is to discuss your route before you go, map (google maps are best) in hand. They will stay where they can get power and there seem to be regulations about where they can stop. Only with power can the AC work so only when stopped and at a place where they can plug in. The food was excellent, simple, local South Indian dishes, delicious breakfast and smoothies. Missed fresh coffee and different teas. Also ask or take your own alcohol and and luxury foods. Arrangements for taxi from Fort Cochin and to airport were excellent. We are giving 4.6 stars because we were looked after well, some refinements would have made the trip perfect. Fresh Coffee, bigger bed sheets and an evening glass of Sula! Value for money off season RS 8-12,000 high season RA 14-18,000 per night. Kumarakum was perfect for us and less crowded. Pip!
