Stayed at this hotel for three weeks while working at the Osan AFB. First off, the location is optimal. You are right in the heart of the downtown district with plenty of options for food and shopping. You are also a three minute walk from the main gate of the Osan AFB, though if you are feeling lazy, the hotel has several vans and has been cleared to travel onto base. In fact, they are very familiar with the base layout and will drop you off at your requested spot.

The staff was amazing and very helpful, though only one or two of their staff spoke English comfortably. They started charging $10 for their expansive hot breakfast, but it is worth it. The breakfast caters to both Western and Asian tastes, and the cook will often try to foist extra food on you as only older Asian ladies can. Be prepared to leave with an orange juice box every morning and the occasional free souvenir.

The rooms are a good size though the bathroom (when compared with fellow travelers) varies between tub/shower combo and two person jacuzzi with wall shower. Also the floors are heated in the bathroom, something you may not notice but is much appreciated. The bed is Korean style -- meaning it is rock hard so it took some adjustment. At the end of the second week though all my back pain was gone so perhaps it is worth it in the end.

The Songtan subway station is only about a five minute ride away. You can either ask the hotel staff or take a taxi from the taxi stand located half a block away. You can ride the subway into Seoul, but be prepared for easily an hour and a half ride. It is worth it though on the weekends to do some sightseeing and the Hwaesong Fortress is only thirty minutes away by subway if you get off at the Suwon Station.

There is wireless available throughout the hotel though I found it a little difficult to use if you are streaming video or trying to download large files. They also use it though to publish a video showcase you can access from your television, so you have plenty of options. There are also computers and color printers available in the lobby area if you need to print, which is highly convenient.

The "gym" is in the basement and consists of three treadmills, two outdated stationary bikes, some sort of vibrating muscle machine that neither of us could figure out, and a very modest set of free weights. There are also three massage chairs down there as well.

One of the nicest perks though has to be the complimentary laundry service. It's same day service, and your clothes come back pressed and on hangers and/or nicely folded. So if you stay at this hotel, you can rest assured that you can pack lightly.

All in all, it was a very pleasant stay for three weeks and would happily recommend it to anyone who has to travel to this area for work.

Room Tip: I am pretty sure they stashed all the "foreigners" on the 6th floor, but ask to be away fr...

Room was very good size, included a small sink and frig, and included a full desktop computer with 23" monitor, although I did not use it. Good flat screen tv and DVD player (believe they had library of videos downstairs), free wifi, and good size bathroom. Good breakfast included in price.

But, could not get over how hard the bed was, and i like firm beds. Later in the morning, on way out, could easily see & hear the fighter jets taking off from local base. As a geek, that was a perk, but if you want quiet, maybe not. I did not notice it during the night but suspect it could occur?

The staff is very friendly and does their best to accommodate your needs. There is a cooked breakfast included and it is plentiful. Their internet is solid and they have a business center with print, scan, and fax capability. It is right in the heart of downtown placing the shopping district right outside the front door. Osan AB is a 3 minute walk. The beds, like most in Korea, are extremely firm. Their housekeeping is not very good at all, and due to the poor drainage system in the city there is a dank odor everywhere. It is a place to hang your hat on business but there are better options for tourism.

Room Tip: Doesn't matter

This is my fourth time to stay here when working at Osan AFB. They always take great care of you at this hotel the rooms are big. And it is in a great location. Not a four or five star hotel but the best in the area. laundry and breakfast everyday are a really nice added service.
