“Friendly service; average food”
Reviewed 19 June 2012

I arrived in the center of town late on a Monday evening. Le Parvis appeared to be the only open restaurant. Their were locals dining so I assumed it must be okay. And it was....just okay. The place had a great bar and probably the best view of the cathedral from the patio. But the food was just okay. I ordered a EUR 13 menu. I received a rather boring salad with carrots, beets, and cucumbers. The steak was swimming in a pool of au poivre sauce that had a strange lemony flavor and capers floating around in it. Sort of an unusual spin on a traditional au poivre sauce. For dessert, I had mousse au chocolat. It was just average. It didn't have a very chocolatey taste and the consistency was sort of off. I saw the waitress just pull it out of a refrigerator so it was completely pre-made. I was glad the place was open, but wouldn't return for a meal. Probably a great place for a big glass of beer!
