My girlfriend and I stayed at La Clergerie last summer and had a wonderful time. The most impressive aspects of the stay were the delicious food, the beautiful, peaceful settting and our gracious host Christine who bent over backwards to make us feel welcome.
Just a short journey from Cherbourg, La Clergerie was the perfect base from which to explore other parts of Normandy including the D-Day beaches. We enjoyed shopping at the local towns of Coutances and St Lo, and also explored some of the local beaches.
It really felt like a home away from home and we will definately be staying again sometime soon.
