Overall the stay was good.
Sadly we arrived to see that the whole of the road right outside the house had been dug up. The work been going on for some time before we arrived. If we had been contacted then we would have booked somewhere else.roadworks were out of the landlords control but we should have been contacted. Hopefully that will be resolved soon.
We were surprised to be asked to pay 100 euros as a deposit when we arrived. This was to cover electricity and local tax. No mention of this in the advert nor the email exchanges between us before the holiday. However 65 euros were returned at the end of the trip. Many places do have a deposit but I feel it should be clearly stated in the advert.
The family bathroom was large but only had a shower no bath. Also placed on the ground floor next to the kitchen and opening onto the open plan dining room. A thin curtain behind the doorspares your blushes so as long as you know each other well then all is well. There is also a frosted window between the shower and the kitchen give a wave to thevperson making a coffee .The upstairs was probably the best feature. Lovely large rooms with lots of storage. Beds were short so if you are tall then pick the bed without the footboard. Kitchen adequate and stocked with suitable equipment. Lounge furniture very tired and shabby. In need of a makeover. Location was great and in easy reach of many attractions. Beach. Zoo. Supermarket. Neighbours v friendly. Local bar/tabac and boulangerie. Pain au choc to die for. So it was a nice little place but possibly over priced for the current appearance.
