“Nature walk”

Kitale Nature Conservancy
Reviewed 29 April 2014

Wau, it was a lifetime experience away from the coastline. There are abnormal animals in there gardens. Imagine a cow with four horns and another with three legs. It was fun with my family

The owner is a retired school teacher who has converted this large area to sharing his love of Nature in and around Kitale. There are educational programs for kids, a well-maintained botanical garden, trails through bird-filled swampy woods, a sanctuary for farm animals with birth defects, a small zoo of native Kenya wildlife, interpretive displays, boat rides, a restaurant, and plants for resort rooms.
The signage and displays reflect the eccentric views of the owner in an entertaining and colorful way. One could take issue with some, but not the sincerity.

2  Thank Pompilid
