“Great week on safari with Mosses and Emely”
Reviewed 30 June 2014

Our three-week stay in Ruanda and Tansania in May/June 2014 was crowned at the end by the 7 days safari, which we booked at Sange Safari LTD, owner Mosses Lukuba. Already the planning time was a satisfying time, so we booked three days Serengeti, two days Ngorongoro and two days at Lake Manyara. When we booked, there was needed a deposit, we were a little concerned about this, but everything was running well, Mosses is a honest and trustworthy guide and we can recommend him without exception. Also the price performance ratio was really very good for our very private safari. We got this contact from our son, who stays for 8 month in Tansania for development aid.
Our safari was a really perfekt and very individual, private safari with Mosses Lukuba and Emely as guides with a high level of knowledge of the East Africans animals. We got to see so many animals, not only the Big Five but also many other species such as the Secretary bird, Dikdik, Hamerkop, Patas monkey, Nile Monitor and so on, we’ve often thought, Mosses and Emely must have a third eye, that they always see these animals. We also booked a visit in a Massai village and we booked a cycling- and walking day at lake Manyara, where we could see the flamingos more closer than in Ngorongoro crater and we could get in touch with the life in the village.
The booked lodges were different, we enjoyed every place, the staff was friendly and the food was well prepared. The most exclusive place was Mbalageti Safari camp with a beautiful view over the Serengeti, everything here was perfect, staff, rooms, food – great! The Rhino lodge outside of the Ngorongoro crater was also a very friendly place with a warm atmosphere and very good food. In front of our balcony ran two waterbuck and two buffalo over. The Manyara wildlife lodge was also a very nice, friendly and wonderful place. From our balcony we could see the lake Manyara, we could watch birds and the Masai with their cattle herds and see the beautiful scenery of the East African grave breach. The most simple stay was at Ikoma tended lodge, we felt like we were in the middle of the savanne. The food was good, the staff was friendly but the tents could need an overhaul and it should be done somewhat against the many mice, even if we could sleep well while the mice where dancing on our tent roof. Finally we thank Mosses and Emely for this unique, impressive, friendly and well organized, very private safari!

“Great Safari experience,”
Reviewed 23 June 2014

Four of us, two couples, had a 4 day, 3 night safari. Moses and his driver met us on time at the Mwanza airport. By the afternoon we had entered Serengeti National Park. We spent the first night in a luxury chalet at Mbalageti Lodge. Excellent accommodations, great food, beautiful overlook from the restaurant, superb service. Because Moses determined that recent rains meant the migration would be in a nearby area he asked if we could alter the itinerary and stay at Mbalageti 2 nights. We agreed, though night #2 was in a standard room, as chalet was not available. Standard room was nice with a comfortable deck. Moses compensated us for the difference. Night 3 was at Rhino lodge. Cozy. Great food. So good to be so near the crater.

We saw all The Big 5 thanks to Moses' hard work. The Black Rhino was elusive, but after intense searching in Ngorongoro we saw one, and were able to bring home pictures to prove it.

Moses and driver, Emly, are great guys. Very easy to travel with. Very ready to serve.

“African Safari Adventure”
Reviewed 23 June 2014

With a trip planned for Tanzania, Africa, we knew that we wanted to include a safari in our itinerary. We browsed the reviews on Trip Advisor and selected Serengeti Sange Safari. Are we glad we did! After an exhausting 30 plus hours of travel, it was wonderful to put our plans into the hands of our guide and driver. We were met at the Mwanza airport and transported on a 4 day/3 night adventure. All the details and arrangements were taken care of. All we had to do was relax and enjoy the ride - and the animals! Amazing! We saw all of the "Big 5" between our time in the Serengeti and the Ngorongo Crater. We even had the added feature of WiFi in the vehicle in certain locations! If you plan on going on safari, contact Serengeti Sange Safari.

“Fantastic Safari”
Reviewed 22 June 2014

We had a fantastic experience booking with Serengeti Sange Safari. (By the way, Mosses, the owner, is in the process of changing the name to Sange Safari LTD.) I was a little nervous about wiring half the cost of the safari ahead of time but that's how most safari operators work. Mosses was quick to answer emails and flexible with arrangements, always trying to make the best experience for us within our parameters. We were picked up at the Mwanza airport, helped with initial arrangement after our 30 hour travel time and off we went on our four day, three night safari. While Sange Safari can arrange trips from Arusha or Mwanza, I enjoyed starting on the west end of the Serengeti where there are no crowds and a good variety of wildlife. Our first two nights were at the fabulous Mbalageti Lodge. Wow, what a view! In the first two days we saw four of the big five (buffalo, elephant, lion, leopard) and so much more! We were able to see a lion and lioness only 15 feet away from our vehicle. Our guide was very knowledgeable and flexible. Then we were off to Ngorongoro Crater. The flamigos were a more vibrant shade of pink than I had ever seen. We enjoyed the cooler weather there but the best part was finding a rhino, completing our checklist of the big five. We had to work to find him and he (or her) was far away, but working for it make all the more satisfying. Whether you are arranging a safari, hiking or camping in Tanzania, I would recommend that you contact Mosses for a great value and great experience.
